Just watching Sheff Utd Blackburn. Both teams are everything we aren’t. Pace drive hard running, great game, and makes me fearful for relegation. We have none of those qualities, knocked out of them by the clown in charge, without at least six new faces, preferably from the cream of the championship we will struggle next year.

Yes, his second touch is a tackle!

Let people with season tickets lend or sell theirs, if they can’t attend, to anyone they please! They paid for it! -
We’ll judging by the amount of injury time given when we played the Arse down here compared to them scoring a fluke winner in the 7th minute of added time at their place against Bournemouth the next week. , I’d say it’s happening now. I’m sure the top brass wouldn’t sooner it went down south if only for a change, and god I hope not, it will be insufferable!

No, he got stick when he started listening to his manager and started turning back and giving the ball to centre halves or keeper repeatedly “keeping the ball at all costs”. The minute he signed for Chelsea his starting point was halfway at worst bombing forward repeatedly. Rodgers out!

Shinji Okazaki: ‘I Played With Real Desperate Desire’
ceebeefox replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Okazaki was great managed to be a midfielder out of possession and a striker with it. A similar player to sign now would be fellow Japanese international Maeda. Would make an industrious no 10 or anywhere in the forwards, and, like most Japanese players has an appetite for grafting which, sadly most of our players currently do not! -
Tete looks no better, though playing in a worst team.
-
Shelvey, Wood and maybe Worrall would walk into our side currently and for guts and endeavour maybe Colback too. That’s how poor I feel we are right now.
-
Hallelujah! Can’t believe they don’t switch! Rodgers out!
-
I watched the Everton Arse game and they played exactly as defensively boring as us yesterday, don’t think they had a go at all. They just did it better and were more dangerous from set plays than us. They did knock it long though but had a target man in Calvert Lewin who held it better.

Daka reminds me, ( for those that are old enough to remember ) of Mark Bright when he joined us early in his career similar style, quick and a good finisher but poor in his hold up play and runs. I’d hate to see him leave and bag all those goals that Bright scored with someone else, but history may repeat itself there. Interesting too that Daka is seen as a hero replacement for Vardy, whilst Bright tried to replace the legendary Gary Lineker.

He’s Scottish.
-
Because for some inexplicable reason, he chose to have a sit down!
-
His cameo against Newport was enough to show me he’s got class, in the same way that Mahrez’s first touch on coming on as a substitute when we signed him was enough. You can see it.

Ha! Agree with most of that as a 63 year old, don’t know or often trust foreign players or managers, but, having played at a level that pays £100 a game nowadays, do know football and Rodgers isn’t for me!, and hasn’t been since even before the cup win brilliant as it was.
-
It’s not God it’s only Andy Peake, clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap! Could be used for Maddison till the summer!
-
It’s the first game where he looked really off it. Even Newcastle away in the cup he burst past defenders a couple of times, but looked really slow yesterday against a couple of lumps who you’d think were slow.
-
Rodgers won’t have that, it’d get us too far up the pitch and have the crowd oohing and aahing! No we need control on the edge of our 18 yard box with two centre halves and a right back who can’t pass.
-
He was their playmaker!
-
Ha! In the O’Neill era I used to have a quid on Elliott, Taggert and Walsh to score first and won a lot of money! And unlike this shower, when we did score first, we won.

I’m an ode git I guess, first season going down was ‘70/71 season as an 11 year old, had a break to play senior league football from ‘75 till I broke my leg in ‘90 and I’ve had a season ticket since then. I only see blue and white and whatever league we’re in I’m there. ( how many premier league hangers on will be there if relegated? -8000? ). I’ve seen good bad and very bad prior to magnificence more recently. I fully agree with roaring them on Saturday even in blind ignorance! It’s needed. My gripe isn’t style or system it’s lack of hard running in the side. I read through the Newcastle and Forest teams pre match and couldn’t envisage being out played, but out ran was enough in all games.

Usually knocks one great ball in a game, sometimes creating a chance, in a side that doesn’t show for the ball. As I’ve said before a pass that Castagne can only dream about making. He’s getting away with murder currently.

Still knocks the odd pass that Castagne can only dream about playing.
