Daka reverting to type so far this game. That miss and then running way offside, jeez.

Kane in 2018. And 2017.

Enzo prioritised tomorrow’s game and rotated accordingly. Far better to target wins against your immediate rivals, even if it leads to draws at lesser teams. We end up with 4 points from Wednesday/Brom it’s better that the win comes from the Brom game as that means they only pick up 3 points in their 2 games. Winning at Weds then a draw at Brom, gives Brom 4 points. That’s numberwang. Disclaimer: This post will self-destruct if we get beaten tomorrow.

I think if we’ve got a decent lead at the top in January we might pick up some signings who are out of contract in the Summer but would ordinarily go to Premier League clubs. Fornals is out of contract in the Summer, maybe available for a low millions and could offer a creative option in the middle that we seem to be lacking. Wouldn’t be my first choice ordinarily but we do need some invention in the middle.

Watford (H) 25 Nov - Post-Match Thread
Stopharage replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
A 2-0 win against a combative but limited Watford, with Winks out. With the exception of Iheanacho I thought the rest of the team were decent. Lead at the top stretched with another game out of the way with no injuries incurred. Defence again looking very parsimonious and Enzo was able to tinker with the team to address Winks’ absence. Yet again we’ve shown that we have the patience and engine to outlast most of the competition - our ability to bring on quality subs when the opposition are tiring is proving to be a key part of our success. -
This ref is diabolical. Shit for both teams and falls for the Jones’ dive every single time.
-
Jesus wept, when Iheanacho stinks, he goes full-on Stig of the Dump.
-
Iheanacho has been diabolical, we’re effectively playing with 10 men with him on.
-
Iheanacho showing what a great loss he'll be when he goes to the African Nations and then on a free.
-
I can see us pressing for the next 15 minutes and then they'll hit us on the break for a 0-2. Pereira has been the best player on the pitch.
-
That this this guy looks so good in goal whilst wearing such a rascal goalkeeping outfit speaks volumes.
-
Fatawu is absolute box office. He's going to infuriate at times, probably get a dopey red but also always do something that will put a big smile on your face.
-
Whoop whoop! Wonderful play by KDH, unselfish play by Vardy and McAteer with yet another goal.

What an incredibly dumb challenge for the penalty. Mavididi wins a penalty then has a great shot from outside the area afterwards. He's very much a purple patch player.
-
Iheanacho free-kick over the bar. Guaranteed.
-
That's Kasey's accent - he was calling him a pillock.
-
Chris Sutton ' That was nearly brilliant' after one of Norwich's players takes a shot that goes out for a throw-in. The yokel Adrian Durham.

Seems eminently sensible* to me to shift things around. Two away games in 6 games with a home game 3 days away; real need to give some players a break. You'd imagine the Bristol home game would be an easier game to win than Norwich away so worth shifting a few of the regulars to the bench for tonight. *Alright, Chaudhary as Captain is a bit LOLWTF but in Enzo we trust.

Textbook Iheanacho.

James Justin has been terrific all game. Hope this means an extended run in the team.

Can't wait to hear Martin's post-match interview after this. He went absolutely postal after the Sunderland performance, so this is going to better viewing than tomorrow's Dispatches.
-
KDH seems to have taken over the Maddison 'fall over at any contact' mantle throughout this game.

This is as decent an attacking half as I can remember in years. We could (and should) have scored 5 in this half. Wonderful stuff.
