  1. Largely of the same opinion. Many experts and diplomats have tried but it seems they can't leave each other alone. I can't understand how people can't just say "I'm going to worship this god over here, you do yours over there and I'll see you on Thursdays at the market"
  2. Well.... someone in my sphere saw the whole thing. He'll need a lot of support.
  3. Have a few Jewish friends around Manchester. Safe to say their levels of comfort have dropped through the floor and they were already pretty low.
  4. Work ball into box
  5. A friend is an Albion fan. Apparently they did well to get a result against us. Mind boggles.
  6. Some big teams down in Conference these days. It's not like it was where the likes of Lincoln City, Notts County, Rochdale, etc were all effectively safe. They definitely want 3 teams up.
  7. Blackburn got abandoned earlier today when they were 1-0 up with 10 mins to go
  8. Hahaha. 2-0 up against ten men at half time and you keep fannying about. Fair play to the ref.
  9. His lower half has sometimes been pyjama bottoms and Crocs and I wish I was joking
  10. There's a Cov fan in my gym. Can't help but respect a man of his...spherical shape, wearing an ill fitting Cov shirt in public.
  11. Absolutely. Having lived in Cyprus, I've been rooting for Pafos and going away to Olympiakos in their maiden game is truly special.
  12. Said it in the death thread but I've lived near where he grew up and he's visited most of the gym's nearby. Never met him myself but know a few people who have. Always had time for people and gave back. Absolute hero and worked so hard to battle his own issues.
  13. Have lived near to where he grew up. Know people that knew him. Such a tragic story and credit to him for doing as well as he did.
  14. Don't. It still bothers me.
  15. Considering several of their Presidents have been assassinated, even before social media, I'm amazed this doesn't happen more. The thing that really struck me from some of the aftermath footage was not the people running around in panic but those just casually sauntering, maybe even taking a video. It's just so normalised over there.
  16. Burnham is, anecdotally, the favourite non-PM from Labour. I vaguely fall under his remit (would prefer if my own MP stood up more for Derbyshire, rather than trying to make it a part of Manchester) and he's generally seen as a good hand on the wheel. Does that translate to PM? Boris Johnson did Mayor of London and then the big job. Mixed results, but they are very different jobs.
  17. Agree. They're in the top flight. We're not. Yes, the drama is mildly amusing from an outsider's perspective but I treat it the same way I would more Man United drama. Our focus should be our club. Calling them Florist or the Trees or refusing to speak their name is ridiculous. We've got enough to worry about as it is.
  18. Stop talking about crisps, it's not dinner time and you're making me hungry ffs
  19. 5/6 Kept some good players, haven't quite shifted who we would have wanted and no real permanent signings. Suggests big issues at the club, financially
  20. Famagusta offended by this
  21. Who is this midfield and where have they come from? Christ that's a proper bit of teamwork
  22. I'd take Rob over Brady a million times. Let's be real, IF (big if) Wrexham got promoted to the prem, they'd probably be the most likeable owners. No dodgy state sponsored sportswashing, asset stripping, dildo brothers nonsense.
  23. He probably pitched himself too high. Genuinely amazed it wasn't MLS.
