Could someone explain why the hate for the Supporters club?

No one will pay more than 20M for him. Unproven at premier league level. He needs to get good numbers this season for us to get a move to a bigger club I think.

I think a handful of them who played today aren’t really that bothered, so I can’t see them looking at themselves.

Ayew gets pelters on here but it’s only because he was a Steve Cooper signing. His value and contribution last season was about par for the course. I can’t see how you can put him in the same bracket as Daka/Soumare/Faes etc…

I wonder if the manager is encouraged to be involve him in the squad because of his wage. He offers nothing.

Oh I don’t disagree on the clauses and poor contractual approach we have. I just feel it wasn’t a request that was unacceptable. Either way, he’s going to play this season unless he’s sold as he’s the best we have in midfield.

Surely if the manager is asking for this, and he refuses therefore making himself not available for his job, would that not amount to him not fulfilling his contract?

Unfortunately work pays the bills, I had to work when I’ve had kids. Worked and stayed away, that is such a poor excuse for him. if he didn’t like it, he should have found a new job like other people do.

Depends who will 100% be here but I wouldn’t mind Thomas being a Vice Captain. Showed a bit of character last season, local lad and a fair bit of experience for his age too. Nelson for another option for vice captain
