I know it was a derby and a semi final but the atmosphere at real sociedad was amazing. I used to watch a lot of la liga and always thought the atmosphere was comparable to the EPL. But over the past few seasons things have definately improved in spain, not sure why, maybe clubs have targeted the younnger demographic, I know real madrid have, last night there was huge amounts of young fans there going mad. I think we stand alone now, the worst atmosphere around. I did have to laugh when the whole stadium did the Grecque, the English commentator stating if his team was winning in the semi final he would want to face the pitch....perfect.

I reckon more like 80/20 at best.

OF games are always huge occassions, but today its a doozy.

Top's done a brilliant job in getting those types of fans in the stadium.

I always rated norwich fans, for saying its a football backwater they always make a decent noise. Of course it helps when you're in such great form.

Does make you wonder if we'll end up like a wigan or bradford. Had their time in the sunlight but then ended up in the shadows year after year.

It wont though, they were quite happy the last time we got relegated to league one. It's not just us either. Most english fan bases accept relegation with a shrug.

So glad derby won (yikes) and Hull too...could've been much worse.

Even forest fans are saying how terrible they are, it would be a miracle if they won it.

TBH most owners in england don't want them, thats why we have the placid quiet stadiums. Some see colour, noise passion in the crowds as a positive thing, we don't.

They dont want those types of fans.

OK good luck with that.

It pains me to say but Ibrox is the best football stadium in the UK.
