Don’t know why we do these things to ourselves……….? So in July/Aug 24, was the thread who do we need………and we came up with……… Jordan Ayew BDCR odsonne Edouard Oliver Skipp, tell you what, let’s pay £20m for him So every common sense suggestion doesn’t get anywhere close to the quality that the LCFC brains & money trust come up with. EVERY time

You can also get an idea here, I sat in SU4 for the cup last year & SL2 for the league game after a couple of times in the lower: https://aviewfrommyseat.co.uk/venue/Stamford+Bridge/sections/ -
Me too, Midlands & London only

I was born & raised on St Matthews could hear the fans when I was in bed if there was a decent crowd as couldn’t go on a school night on the midweek games, it was a mile & a bit, 27 years brilliant!! Now near Gilmorton, so about 12 miles I think

League Cup 2024/2025 Thread
The boy Linacre replied to Happy Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
Main thing is the entitled, just plain nasty (see Rice last night, Gabriel Sunday) and Arteta all the time, Arsenal got an absolute drubbing, and the worst side in Man U's recent history, and that is going some, knocked them out of the FA Cup. NOTHING has changed since their dressing room photo in 2016, entitled. They have the photo, we have the Premier League trophy. Howay the lads -
And of course they all know best, as we let Everton batter us on Saturday after 7 losses out of 8, jokers all. Cooper wasn't the answer but they are steaming towards relegation

Think you'll be fine or there is a bow wave coming when they open the next block -
I know its bit late in the day BUT obviously we had the disaster of the January window coz of the cataclysm of the July & Aug cluster***k But can anybody actually tell me WHY Cooper was sacked?? What did he do that took Top in the direction of wasting even more pay off money? I'm genuinely interested to know........

That game sent us down as much as the next home against Southampton & the 2 games Waldorf & Statler gifted vs Villa & Bournemouth and Madders penalty miss. BUT Rodgers spat the dummy at Top & Rudders coz of lack of recruitment in 80 degree heat and brought no subs on & Frank bought 5 on. It wasn't about the club but him, following the Forest outburst a few months earlier. We lost 2 pts, were relegated by 2pts. We wouldn't be here now.

Multipurpose, brilliant!!! DOF during the week, centre halves on match day

Looks like we're as committed to the ownership as they are to keeping us in the League -

Last time I went to Chelsea in the League I was in the Upper as well as the FA cup last year, have they opened any upper blocks yet? I'm on tomorrow -
Tell you what though, they have left a forlorn hope to RVN to get a Championship level squad to stay up, harsh. In 6-8 games we will be adrift of Wolves and they SHOULD start planning their clearout and transfer in strategy for next season, so they can be bought beg July and we hit the straps as soon as the season starts.
-
So the way that fans in their rose tinted spectacles extrapolate that they have lost 7 in 8 games for example suddenly turn that into the next 3 games getting 6pts etc. We are where we are coz they repeatedly and constantly didn't recruit well, past performance DOES TEND to be reflective of future performance I mean who of us seriously trusts them now?????? My mates always have said over the last few years, lets stay in the pub, home and away, the Football spoils the day, well thats going to be the case for the rest of this season. We're there for the social, NOT the product or any level of success.

WHY did the fans know???? And the purse strings didn't?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
The boy Linacre replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
he wasn't the right man for the job, didn't have the right CV BUT I do feel some genuine sympathy for him from what has happened over the last 34 days. He's been given no chance with a Championship level squad that can't defend. -
Its their repeated poor financial decision making that has got us into this mess, the club never came first OR they would have said no to some of these car crash transfers and wages. Daka, Bertrand, Vesty TWICE , Faes, Kristensen, Edouard, Choudry multiple times, Skipp Anyway, can somebody tell me, why did we actually sack Cooper? Does anybody know the actual reason, the players obviously hated him (re Copenhagen) but in the interim period they have proved to be spineless, gutless, qualityless & useless. Haven't seen Winks drag us to safety since, maybe he should say less and I'm a big fan. AND because we'll go down, like Maddison & Barnes, they'll lose £5 to £10m on Mads, coz it'll be a fire sale, so I won't have been the best financial decision. Ineptitude of the highest order, sleepwalking into laying waste to the club. As fans we invest time, effort, money and most importantly enormous amounts of emotion into supporting our club, the highs bring us genuine pleasure, families connecting and sharing these moments. These guys are paid or gain kudos from "success", the League and Cup were one offs BUT after 8 successive top flight seasons there is no entitlement to think if we got things relatively right that we couldn't continue to finish somewhere between 7th & 17th, that leaves room for manoeuvre. THEY - nobody else have turned us from a comfortable PL team to a yo yo club. I hoped they had learned when we were promoted but WHAT a disaster was the summer window AGAIN, along with the Vesty & Choudry contracts.
-
Sadly its a tough school and you don't get much time from anybody, Cooper had twelve games (though it was a bad decision in the first place), Khusanov didn't play Sunday after his howler vs Chelsea. For me Okoli looks off the pace in the PL, but yes the other two are just disasters now, and his play on the ball looks awful currently, but he's worth a chance as he's staying. This'll be a bigger recovery than the Great Escape if we stay up, if things go badly over the next 8-10 games and we fall away, I'd start to find next seasons partnerships and units.

Its just been an ongoing catalogue of errors post the FA Cup win. Letting Brendan spit the dummy when he didn't get the players he wanted, sleepwalking into relegation when we shouldn't have gone down. In the meantime playing Russion roulette with crap signings, big contracts, lack of quality and PSR. Bouncing back last year but probably cheating our way to it. Having the beggars bowl out for Cooper, we'll never know who was responsible for the worst transfer window for a long time with a Skipp we didn't need, BDCR with no real quality, and Edouard who might never play and cost a shedload, so putting us at this January's last chance saloon. Their stupidity meant that we had no chance of getting anyone in after they sat through Saturday and saw how truly shocking we currently are, and are not a side capable of playing and winning at this level, and still do Nothing. They could have still given us a chance and CHOSE NOT to. Totally disengaged now and apathetic and can't be arsed with the championship, IDIOTS.
