  1. Dean Smith mk 2, lets hope it goes better than mk1. Kick their arse mate, that's what needed. Just watch what they can do in the 1st half vs Southampton, then check the table for what they do over the long haul!!! Good Luck mate, you'll need it.
  2. We're not winning it though are we? Brinksmanship of the highest order against the minnows. Banton, Bethell and Jacks looking like the only ones that can bat. Bethell might as well open, he's coming in so early. Not going well for Buttler, keeps playing the same shot and getting the same result. Just don't understand why a few of them don't show a small level of addition patience when in. Bound to win it now, hopefully Oz go out to SL
  3. Today makes you remember how much we enjoy the thrill, excitement and pleasure sport gives. Two amazing golds, a few chances have gone and they have more than steadied the ship. Brilliant TEAM GB for taking our mind off the disaster of KPFC currently. So pleased for all of them, brilliant. Sport at its exciting best!!!!!
  4. Make sure though that you have tried and tested everything in training & know its available in the Marathon itself, nothing new, no surprises, I hit the wall at 18-19 in Docklands, and I was a a very experienced runner. That obstruction is there, walked the last 6 miles and always regret it, even jogging/trotting I could have run 3.20/25 not the 3.47 I did. Don't deviate from your finalised plpan
  5. You have to be optimistic and I am, when you are struggling & in free fall nothing goes right. BUT I went to Birmingham and last night and think there is hope, Till BDCR was sent off we were slightly the better side after coming back from a Ricky howler. Best half of the season last night, they just ran out of gas & Andy sadly waited too long. BUT we have plenty of competition in midfield after the cup, Arribo was decent at St Andrews, Mukiasa was last night too, it shouldn’t be long for James return then. Lascelles looked decent Saturday, Victor must challenge, can he be worse than Thomas. With us getting the ball forward quicker Daka is a much better option than Ayew. There is time, not much, they just need a win, sadly that was why last night for them the win was so important. They can stay up, but they need to get going soon. We’ve got to have hope though, even though we dislike many & the upstairs decision makers. Stay in this League to make the restart!!!
  6. For gods sake Andy change the side!!!! HOW HOW HOW can he start with Ayew up front after his last 2 performances. Just because he's a member of the club doesn't mean we HAVE to play him, start Daka OR just don't have an attacker and have an extra attacking midfielder. He NEVER held the ball up once last week, he gambles lots on the the ref that if he goes down he'll get a free kick, they're not giving them almost without fail. He doesn't gamble in the 6 yard box, a couple of crosses coming in were bang on for a striker attacking that box/space. Lascelles if fit enough has to start, sounds like Skipp is back and will play with Winks, Aribo can be an impact sub (if he lacks fitness), Daka starts with Richards coming on for him for 20-30mins, again Mukasa has to be given a subs go. Nothing we can do about Thomas, BUT hopefully Jamal will marshall him. We can get something IF we don't regurgitate what has failed over the last month. Andy you have some extra tools, use them, the current ones are blunt, tired and old!!!
  7. I suspect a dereliction of duty by the top 2. I just can't fathom how Top can see this repeated failure over the last 5 years and not look to change things. Is he really just a Nepo baby and has NO business acumen whatsoever? Rudkin has got no financial or acquisition decisions right since we first went down if not before. Saw the 1st's minute of Top's interview last week, the guy is deluded. Do whatever you can to stay up, support King or whoever in whatever way to make sure we survive. Get rid of Rudkin, he's failed REPEATEDLY and acknowledge that much of the title win was down to Walsh, Pearson, Ranieri & Shakespeare. The ONLY people responsible for this financial calamity is those 2 and shut the door to players.....they report ONLY to the manager. Get on with it........
  8. Does anybody know how long we have to appeal? They might look and see how our form is, if by some miracle they beat Brum and Soton next week. They might just take it on the chin.
  9. Agree We were stupid and cheated and compounded it by stealing our way out of the charge last time AND then were totally obstructive. Whoever is responsible, and we can all fathom a pretty good guess, needs to put up and shut up and get behind AK or whoever and the players. I hope the new recruits will give us enough solidity at the back and energy going forward to keep us up. We won a decent amount of games earlier in the season. They've really got something to play for AND some of them have GOT to stay, Thomas, Vesty, Hamza. There is also plenty of time. And the teams around us now are shocking, Charlton & Oxford were v poor even winning. I'm still very optimistic, what else can we be? 16 pivotal games in the clubs history.
  10. Or Daka into somebody who can control a bouncing or passed football it seems. And hit the back of the next on an irregular basis
  11. And Border Cross Skeleton etc.
  12. Are we really going to have, dynamism, pace, legs and energy?? Can't wait for St Andrews now, grasp the nettle AK and stick those stealing a living on the wooden seats..... And lets hope Lascelles stays mainly fit
  13. Andy has to make a choice about his future. Does he want to stay at Leicester? What’s his ambition Because not grasping the nettle and leaving the failures out (where he has replacement) is not going to look good, wherever & whatever he wants to do in Football, drop the diving, falling, lazy, set piece greedy charlatan
  14. Yeah, the other 2 have had multiple time this season & previously to hit the net. Ayew adds ABSOLUTELY NOTHING & for the sanity of the rest of the team AND the ball comes back faster than it went forward & he’s on his backside. Daka can’t control a football or finish. We need SOME goals, it’s laughable He must be a better option
  15. Form of the bottom 4 over last 5 games is shocking, aside from us gifting Oxford 3pts last week
  16. Not much going on today at Melbourne
  17. Absolutely, Rudkin & whoever else has negotiated over the last 5 years have royally screwed us over. Betrand, Vesty 1st time round both on £65k+, Daka £80k, Soumare £80k, Winks £80-90K nd lengthy contracts, Resigning Thomas and Choudry on decent PL wages when binned off by various Champ sides, Watford, Sheff Utd, Boro etc. Coady £75k.even Nach on £80k. I really hope they realise gong forward any new purchase is NEVER vital to a club, NONE of these changed our history or made us reach Europe or win the FA Cup or even stay up. There is always another option that won't be much worse. Wise up paymasters.
  18. Has he gone yet? Not seen anything for 2 days..... And are we actually getting anything for him??
  19. Allied to which this thread was off the back of percy's article 14th November. Top said this week we are looking for......... That's 10 weeks later and NOTHING has happened. They just realise the team is performing abysmally and the fans are up in arms Its just to keep the locals at bay.....
  20. On a personal level, we all want shot, guy has 95% stole a living BUT in light of Top's mind melding interviews. Whoever is the manager where does that leave our midfield??? We have the revered John Rudkin (revered by Top) 60, in charge of brining in probably at least 2 midfielders in 6 days (a great historical track record in agile/nimble transfer activity.) OR hanging out to dry the current incumbent patsy manager.
  21. Who's name is on the Trophy?? Nole or Sinner, as like Sinner at Wimbledon last year, they were both facing down the barrel and heading out and then got a reprieve. TBF still think Alcaraz will complete the slam. Djolovic has no chance of beating them both back to back Another good stat, the world no 3 is closer to the world no 1000 in the mens rankings than he is to the world no 1 and 2, that show far they are ahead.
  22. What’s available currently though? Missing another, left back, centre back, two major midfielders with injury, 3 with Winks. The cupboard is bare. This is about organisation, defensively particularly, increased work rate & effort for as close to 90 mins as possible and a no BS/passenger culture. Hard taskmaster required, is Kingy that?? Certainly a change of tactics required, we have had 29 games this season & many last playing slowly from side to side & backwards, that has failed abysmally, time for a more dynamic approach. He does do a decent park run 5km though😉
  23. We can talk about this till we are blue in the face BUT it’s the same old story. Its in the hands of two TOTAL incompetents with almost zero track record of selecting the right manager. We all may have an opinion but it’s irrelevant, this discussion is pointless and out of our hands, but we all fear the worst (and with good reason), but feel helpless. If they uncover a good manager e.g Enzo, it’s total luck. Allied to which, good or bad, our next manager, won’t last 3 years, they don’t, leave because they are successful or fired. AND the pool is pretty empty currently, Rohl was probably the miss in the summer, they got that wrong.
  24. In the end somebody put him in that job, and RVN Prior to that & Cooper prior to that, not a great track record.
  25. MOM by a mile, wanted the ball, Hamza gave up all responsibility by just shipping it on to him all the time. Takes a GREAT corner. 17yo putting the rest to shame in a shocking performance.
