If my Nan had wheels, she’d have been a bike…
The boy Linacre replied to Jakemoore's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think there were a few 1) 1st game of season - Brentford at home 2-0 up, BRodgers deciding not to bring any subs on whe Frank bought 5 on, final result 2-2 2) Winter World Cup, After beating Everton and West ham in early November wouldn't need to get wait to get battered at home on Boxing by Newcastle 3) Sacking BRodgers BEFORE the March international wiindow, might have got something at Palace 4) Sacking BRodgers BEFORE the March Internaional Window, meaning we had a new manager in place NOT Sadler and Stowell in place for the vital home games against Villa, where Wilf passed to Traore for him to score the winner in the first in ever, and Bournemouth when Madders backpass was the difference in a 1-0 defeat 5) Aforementioned Madders inability to absolutely take the leather of the peno -
Talking of how it should be done when as a club you have failed...... "Rob Edwards, Matt Jackson and Nathan Shi have been quizzed by fans at a Wolves Fan Forum hosted by BBC Radio WM." When are Top and Rudders facing the fan in the absence of an insitu manager as it sounds like Rowett is off or let go?? Others accept their failure/s................and recognise the importance of getting the fans onside

Marketing and Communications must be the easiest job imaginable at KPFC, well there's a communication vacuum.

I was going to ask what economic policies the voting population are making their decisions on, because these new incumbents will manage many of the day to day services Joe Public use and rely on. In the end we are a very unhappy disillusioned electorate, and the party’s in power are/have not/not doing a great job, and being continually criticised plants the seed and propagates and supports that negativity and move towards those more extreme edges. Can we have the positivity and hope of the 90’s back…..Time to get out things can only get better 😂😂

Had 14 games, a 3rd of the season, couple of wins and not draws and the confidence of those would have kept us up narrowly. Don't rate him massively, but perhaps if there is nothing better, and don't take gamble, he might do the League 1 job, shouldn't be hard IF we can keep/get some decent players. Then we can sack him off when promoted, don't rate him, but sometimes merit in the status quo. Who's realistically better?????? That we actually can get, not who in some rose tinted dream we think we can get (Maresca!!).

I think I'd make Yize the favourite, Murphy has a miss in him, kids 22, no fear, Murphy's bringing a decent bit of baggage in, desperate to win a 2nd title, clock ticking, couple of final defeats including best player in the event in 2015 but lost the final to Bingham. If this goes close, he's the one with the scar damage......

Had been away for the weekend, not looking at phone, but seeing I got offered a ticket for United A, but too late was the cry. Got home, watched the 1st half, sent the kids to bed, including my 12yo season ticket holder son. Turned over for the World Snooker final, thinking it was done, watching the Jester heading towards the title. Then my phone started to ping a lot, turned back to see it was 2-1 to Spurs with just under 10 to go, then saw Hazard score and a very nervous last 7 mins, rushed upstairs to tell the boy on full time. There was a bottle of champagne that had been in the house for ages, would be rude not to, got a bit emotional and then just watched the rest on Sky Sports and Sky Sports news. Just very emotional, and probably very hard to really understand and believe. But overall, just very very happy Bought lots of papers the next day and headed towards the end of the week and the Everton game

Got what they deserved absolutely NO SYMPATHY whatsoever. Thanks for thinking you'd walk it to the play offs and fiddling whilst Rome burned -

Contracted / Academy players to be the first to leave
The boy Linacre replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Judging by Friday, if Souttar had been available even under Rowett, we would have stayed up -
1 person manning it probably......Carry on Football Club!!! (watch ITV 3 on a Bank Holiday for those not Old enough, you can see a Carry on marathon)

Personally I think he has been really poor this season when he has got any play, which has been pretty limited. They’ve already coached the free spirit out of him already, he has been lucky enough to pick up the Steph & Ayew constant short pulling tic though, so he’s learnt something in his development this year.

Foxes Trust End of 25/26 Survey
The boy Linacre replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
As they say tell someone to tell somoeone to tell someone on this, I've sent it to all the LCFC fans I know and asked them to complete it, that's our best bet to get to these numbers, hope so. Additionally ALL the other fans group should be backing and pushing this, UFS, the lot -
Foxes Trust End of 25/26 Survey
The boy Linacre replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just done, takes a few mins, BUT we have to grow a group that will influence & affect change. Though not quick or effective for some, an organised large group of fans is the only way the club ownership will listen. The time taken to fill in the survey, reinforces your commitment to YOUR club, Top, Rudkin, Davies AREN’T listening. His apology was farcical & it’s a VERY long road back. Let’s give the Trust as much support as we can. -
Ticket prices in League One
The boy Linacre replied to HurfingtonPost's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think we should be drumming up some support / “noise”.to get the Trust & other fan bodies to open dialogue lines on this?? God knows the number of ST’s binning it off BUT those staying, who have committed their continued support are subsidising the clubs total failure AND ability to retain their ST fan base and numbers. The club have got it BADLY wrong , rumours like “they didn’t actually believe they would go down” in 23 and this seasons utter fiasco & obvious misjudgment, see Tops last TV press interview. Need a financial applicable olive branch to your distanced fan base. Lets challenge the club on match & ST pricing??!! -
Don't mind clapping them for 17 wins in 80 EIGHTY games NOT But I'm not waiting 30 mins whilst they arrange the pitch (as they have done for the last 10 years) obviously following: 1) Using a Mobile ticket that I never wanted 2) Waiting the same amount of time for a beer with their new system that I did before (hence I don't drink at the ground) 3) Being searched most home games in the last few months as I bear all the hallmarks of a terrorist as I enter the ground 4) Other club approaches that treat the fans with no respect whatsoever TBF they might start to change their approach, when there are swathes of empty seats next season AND big dents in their turnover. Then they might show some respect and appreciation to the paying customers and not treat them like criminals. So I think the likelihood, is I'll say my farewells to my immediate fellow fans, and take a well earned summer break and not spend time congratulating a number of moneygrabbing pro conmen masquerading as overpaid footballers. Presume Top will be there as I'm guessing Polo isn't a floodlit game, and based on his interview, he'll think we'll be looking forward to finding out who we've got in the playoffs.

Things to Look Forward to in League One
The boy Linacre replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
And TBF, there were plenty that bigged up the championship, both times we were relegated from the top flight in the last 4 years. Sadly I've got Cov fans in my village and one flew his Play Up Sky Blues flag......Hmmm But in 2017/18 they were in league 2, We'd in Porto, we'd been in Bruges. Copenhagen, hadn't fazed us. That turnaround is pretty impressive BY US and our club organisation. The new grounds scenario doesn't take into consideration the old muppets (top, JR) continuing to steer the downward (VERY quickly) direction of the club. I'm mean even Forest after 30 years are somewhat thriving. 17 wins in the last 80 EIGHTY games, safe to say its not an enjoyable watch or discussion on any level with anybody, interested or not interested in Football. I feel genuinely sorry for ALL Leicester fans, those boardroom dickheads, will they visit these away grounds or even the home ground, when the ground is 2/3rds full next season. The press interview, joking about getting into the play offs won't seem so funny then. As fans we live with it EVERY day. Go down and get back up in 1 season, I ONLY want to visit these grounds in a Cup!!! Not the League. But unless there is a miracle, starting tomorrow....... -
Good news is we won't have to spoil a bank holiday weekend by buying a ticket to Ewood in the forlorn hope we'll be battling to stay up for a long way in the North 12.30 kick off. Relying on the reliable club , PSR....
-
I'm guessing he has a decent amount at stake here, but would you know??? He must be on a decent bonus to stay up AND a slight possibility he will become long term manager, at a club that is probably one of the biggest payers in the div. Surely he's massively motivated BUT you wouldn't think so....We have had lots of opportunities. Thomas last minute far post Stoke, Patson peno miss and header miss. We dominated Preston the last 30 mins but couldn't win, presume we dominated thhe last 15-20 yesterday, we'd have been near Blackburn now.... Its looking decidedly ropey.......... 1 win since Jan 5th, not a good look??????

Like last years, it’s opened up for the underdogs & think it’s so much better for the cup. ManC MUST draw Chelsea!!!

Both Aribo and Lascelles had really decent games at St Andrews, even though we were behind to a honker from Ricky and BDCR got sent off (I know hard to believe a schoolboy could get sent off in a mens match). Lascelles then went ping and any hope of teaming him up with Ben Nelson went, and then marti was sacked and AK wanted to play Aribo as a sub winger. Skipp's finally stepped up since then, so midfield has got a bit congested & Harry has been brought back on side. I'm the eternal optimist BUT Saturday was shocking, after all that hope Tuesday and the away draws, we CREATE NOTHING, their keeper had NOTHING to do. Having a shot, gambling on a run has just been coached out of them. If we concede we have to score more, if we don't test the keeper we won't score, not hard is it. Not new or fake news, but we are in serious serious trouble AND the others at the bottom are showing signs of life as well.

Jordan Ayew encapsulates the term stealing a living. My belief is Football is a game of movement, not in his mind. Does show A LOT of stupid people in Football Villa goal every 5 games, (9 in 51), Swansea goal over 5+ games (8 in 50), Palace loan goal every 20!!!! (1 in 20) Palace goal every 9 games (21 in 175), Lestah goal every 5+ (10 in 55) dropping down a division. For those that remember, Roger Davies, he sent us down too, not twice though.
