I actually really enjoyed the concept, means that you had half a day personally!!! TBH if they hadn't shelled the 5 catches on day 2, guess they couldn't see the pink ball. Though they did drop 18 in the series, so who knows? -
Or GK Barry doing he rounds draw, appealing to the yoof doesn't necessarily always work???

We'll see things differently I think, sometimes its always about the context, I went to the last 4 tests. I hope it really works for him. Ollie Pope has played 64 tests for England and has an average of 34.5, nowhere near good enough, he can't be the answer going forward. The 4 tests I saw all showed that the pressure on the middle order is because one of the openers is gone quickly, generally Duckett is gone in the blink of an eye, or Crawley has got 0. So 3 and 4 were openers in reality, you're facing a new ball, the opening bowlers with their tail up. These are test matches NOT T20. There was not one commentator (both sides) out there that didn't not rate him, On Tailenders, Tuffers said he had scored the best 10 he had ever seen He took 20 balls to go from 99 to 100, that shows an ability to deal with pressure (personal - his 1st EVER 1st class ton) and they bought back Starc to him, we still had a chance of a draw or even a win as Broad on Channel 7 said 200+ could be a tough target. We only lost by 5 wickets considering we were 200 behind on the first innings, when Brook & Smith again left 50+ runs in the shed through stupid dismissals. There was plenty up for grabs in this test. He then kicked on to 150+. His 40 was a vital score in the carnage at the MCG. Only Head, Brook & him score 40+ in that test. I would suspect he would take whichever spot was offered, Root and Brook aren't giving up 4 and 5 though, so beggars can't be choosers. Even the Aussies commentators said if he came into the Aussie team it would be at 5 or 6. So for me plenty of extenuating circumstances, he's 22 and technically very accomplished, I'd give him a run. The Oval was his 4th test. The top 3 have had their time and at least 2 should go. Lets see.....OR we bring Pope back???? -
Thing is, aren’t viewing figures massive these days? Demand for tickets massive. Nothings wrong is it?

We left at least 50 runs out there thanks to our mature batters Brook & Smith. BUT we batted 100 overs nearly and it’s really hot on the pitch. -
TBF Why would Marti even say that, just manage the club better mate and shut up with the press BS sound bites. If he stays here on loan & scores 15 by season end, a Prem club will snap him up.

I’ve been here for a day in Brisbane, 1st 2 in Adelaide & 1st 2 in MCG & SCG. Aside from Perth, after 1st innings, we have NEVER been ahead of the game, bowling has been inaccurate to a great extent, batting always has 3 or 4 giveaway wickets each innings, I mean 5 dropped catches in Brisbane & Smiths was a dolly. Brooks drop of head hard but…. What did we lose by, what was the difference. Between Heads 170;& 99???? -

TBF to him, he comes in so early abroad at no 4 in comparison to home it’s so much harder for him, especially now. -

Said it before, we are England condition flat track bullies. Understand batting is slightly harder these days BUT Averages in the mid 30’s for Crawley, Pope, Duckett only slightly more is the same as all rounder Stokes. Bowling, we bowl high wide & handsome & as for Carse the no ball king vs a bowling side that aim for the stumps & corridor of uncertainty. Not closing the deal against India should have told us everything we needed to know. Do we have the players on the fringes for a rebuild, many of this lot are naive & lack Cricket intelligence. Mcgrath might be right with his normal prediction. -

It did & I went to days 1 & 2 -
In business if a business performed this badly eventually many major decision makers would fall on their own sword just for honour or pride. I appreciate Top is so responsible but Rudkin should actually have the pride to resign rather than take the vitriol & see the disaster they have presided over the last 3.5 years, not a one off but repeatedly. Though many were ambivalent about Enzo’s style of play, he was the one good decision they made since August 22 & that eventually was taken out of their hands. I’m so tired of Mart’s constant jabbering, do what your paid to do. TBF Top is making a weekly effort to devalue his investment, good job!!! Even he should be slightly concerned.

We're off on holiday and I'm an adult, son U22 giving it to 2 O65's, presume O65 is about same price as an U22, presume then the fee will be very small?? The ticket prices for B & C games are the same having had a look.

In the end many of these took us up 2 seasons, now their level has dropped dramatically, BUT managers CAN get a tune out of underperforming players, he isn't. No point in sacking him BUT the guy is clueless, the whole thing is bust at least for the foreseeable. That is a pretty decent level of ineptitude, that not many clubs can match in the last 10-20 years. From a Cup win and a European semi to 13th in EFL Champs in 4.5 years looking shocking too repeatedly.

The Ashes 25/26

For me they are an arrogant boys club (Key, Baz, Stokes), & flat track bullies, haven’t beaten Oz or India in the last 4 series +. They got away with one with the 1st innings and have learnt nothing from Brooks cock up in the last India test, & the 1st Ashes tests here last time. Heard TMS at the end Aggers said how hard & different pink ball Cricket is but Stokes batters still aren’t playing a 2 day match arranged for them & got a bit aggy when Agnew pushed him for an answer. Even Vaughan & McGrath said, surprisingly they are professional cricketers, why wouldn’t spend some extra time in the middle. Mcgrath said how defensive Stokes when he’s on the end of it, Crawley, Brooks & the others need to own it & take some responsibility. Chances of winning the series now massively reduced. Dicks. -
Went in 1990 & Euro 96 but that was easy

Presume Wood, Archer, Atkinson, possibly Carse for the batting too. This is great resume of the grounds: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/extra/0g73ogf816/ultimate-ashes-25-26-grounds-guide -
So I've just retired and am pretty keen to go to at least a few games (any will do). I applied for the Visa early ticket draw, no luck. Then I also got this, I registered a year ago etc.; Entry Completed Your entry for the FIFA World Cup 26™ Early Ticket Draw has been completed. Thank you for submitting your entry. A random selection draw will take place, which will determine if you are successful in being selected to purchase tickets. FIFA Ticketing will begin notifying you of your results no earlier than 7 November 2025. If you are successful in the Early Ticket Draw, you will be given a date and time slot to purchase tickets (subject to availability), with time slots starting from 12 November 2025. Being successful in the draw does not guarantee that tickets will be available for any or all matches, as tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability. Anybody who might be going had any luck in any of these draws?? Wanted to get a jump on the draw at the beginning of Dec, but looks like no luck. Value any suggestions
