  1. This absolutely hilarious. Yeah robot guy is like "I'll just give you a second to soak it in" and Ramsey looks like he's a pilgrim making it to Mecca, kind of looks up in a mediative trance with God and says "you know what, I have played here I think in lockdown!" Amazing 🤣
  2. With Carranza, our track record with players means I wouldn't be surprised if we see him come on for 30 mins and then never see him make an appearance again! I hope that doesn't happen but it is quite possible!
  3. Who we had on here over the years? Was it Alan Sheehan offering someone out? We've had Luke Thomas's uncle didn't we?
  4. I wonder if this is similar to the structure of the Tielemans loan deal when he came to us. I remember £25m being bounded about at first but because he hit the ground running his fee went up to £40m as he did so well and it seemed even though we may he have had first refusal, there must have been a bidding war otherwise his fee wouldn't have risen so much. Obviously this worked out well for Monaco because he did so well - not sure if he had flopped whether we could have returned him with no obligation. How good the deal is with Frankfurt might come down to how he adapts to the Bundesliga perhaps?
  5. The thing is most of the 'old school' come out for the bigs games all stone island up yet when it comes to it shut themselves,I was a prominent member of the ybs when we started it up,was always us young lot Avin a row,we were game as ****,hear the young lot now are(I'm 30) and av mrs and kids and don't bother anymore, pisses me off that you get the so called old school sitting in family stand with the kids in the s.i gear, yet when push comes to shove and it's gonna kick off say 'av got me kids',that's well and fine but then don't wear the clobber to say your a lad if your a has been, most so called lads ain't even as a row, gaur enter that out of 50 lads(hate it when folk say there was 200 there today)only a dozen tops will av it,the rest **** off back to the tavern and av the cheek to say they've just 'had it' On 30/08/2025 at 19:15, Spudulike said: On a Birmingham forum they're complaining about being attacked after the match by Leicester fans in Morrisons car park. 6. I went to have a look at Birmingham's squad as so many on here think we'll struggle and seem to be bigging them up and it looks pretty average IMO. Yes, we're nothing to write home about at the moment but I think we'll have too much quality against them personally.
  7. We need to see improvements on the pitch. That first half against Charlton we looked completely devoid of any strategy, hunger or identity. As bad as anything I can remember under Ruud or Cooper.
  8. Nah, it's not that simple, if you put him back in that league he'd struggle. There's something gone seriously wrong. He doesn't look like a footballer anymore.
  9. How can he go from scoring almost a goal a game for Red Bull Salzburg to a goal a season at us? It's one of life's mysterious unanswerable questions.
  10. If in doubt, dive to floor.
  11. I suppose a bit like Ayew then?
  12. 14 goals in 75 Austrian league appearances. I know football isn't as simple as comparing him with Daka but it doesn't feel good.
  13. Thanks for this Jim 👍
  14. Maybe Booooooooalll so he's unsure we're booing him or chanting his name like Wboooooooooooouttttt
  15. Rangers down 5-0 at HT v Club Brugge! Not a good few days for Scottish football!
  16. Looks good in the air! Headed goals from strikers a dying art.
  17. Yeah was just thinking that. We have been in a similar position and I remember NP saying that there was loads of work put in finding the right fit personality wise. Hope Marti values are the same when we start buying again.
  18. To me this is another point at the awful culture at the club. Winks sulking, Faes smirking and throwing fists at the fans and now Bilal apparently throwing his toys out.. It's hardly a band of brothers where players are held to account by each other is it?
  19. Possibly left out the most famous Steve Claridge!
  20. There must be a Leicester fan working as a developer at Flashscore. Look who's listed under departures 🤣
  21. But he'll get a big portion of German Sausage!
  22. Brownhill's numbers in the Championship are up there with some of the best I've seen from any midfielder in the division! A global scouting network or not, that should be the driving factor in getting him in! Plus he's on a free!
  23. What other type of player would you recommend right now? Yes, we need to get back to the model of the past of buying cheap relatively unknowns but that can only happen if you've got a spine and they can be integrated gently. We are lacking quality in midfield and Brownhill is free and has an unbelievable track record at this level so he's the exact type of player we're after.
  24. We can end up going too far the other way on the spectrum and be scared to spend any money at all which is not what we want either. Brownhill's stats are amazing at this level and if we're not paying a transfer fee I'd be happy with £4m -£5m a year on wages. To think we spent £25m Skipp with probably £3m a year wages with an average season at Norwich all to show before! - Codey, Skipp, BDR is the type of nonsense we need to stop, Brownhill would be shrewd signing IMO. He could be the difference between promotion which is worth a lot lot more obviously.
