  1. No need to wait until 2027, I'll get the car started now. Where do I need to pick him up from and drop him to?
  2. Unbelievable. Got to feel for Blackburn, they've been robbed.
  3. Watching this game you can see why we are so far off being a premier league club now. 88th minute and these lads are running around like mad men. Our fitness levels are nowhere near where they need to be. Great game of football. Credit to Fulham they've stuck at it.
  4. If he genuinely is on his way out, I hope they've got someone else lined up immediately. Not going to happen of course, and no doubt we'll appoint someone in the New Year but one can only hope.
  5. Needs to go. That was abysmal.
  6. Marti is the manager equivalent of Danny Ward. Genuinely no idea how he's managed to convince anyone that he's professional. Looks like a competition winner.
  7. Don't know what you're all getting your knickers in a twist about. We were once in league one y'know!
  8. Unbelievably bad defending. How many mistakes? Sort of defending you'd see in Sunday League Division 6.
  9. I get there will be winners and losers in any budget, but I've never encountered a budget which has previously hit me on so many levels. I think there are likely many people in the same boat as myself, which earn a decent living but are far from rich and seem disproportionately targeted by this budget. It feels like a rather lazy budget to keep certain demographics on-side. Suffice to say, having been screwed over twice by Labour governments in my lifetime, they've destroyed any chance of ever receiving future votes from myself.
  10. Get Brussell is ASAP, will improve the defence overnight. Knows how to handle a pair of massive tits.
  11. My biggest concern is we're not creating much at all in front of goal. I know we're missing a decent striker, but you could have Haaland up front and he'd be struggling to get into double figures this season. I don't think it's the player's, it's the system/shape. The build up play is far too slow, and the attacking players are sat too deep meaning there isn't any options on the break. Even when there is an outlet, the furthest player forward is isolated and has no support whatsoever, so any counter breaks down straight away. This was understandable earlier in the season when the players were trying to learn the style of play and understand movement patterns but by now this should be starting to come together and there should at least be signs that we can open teams up. Unfortunately I have yet to see anything that suggests this is work in progress which is certainly concerning.
  12. Looks like the designer popped out of his studio to grab a brew, and his pesky prepubescent school boy graffiting son snuck in and started drawing c*cks all over his dads designs before hitting send on the email.
  13. Agree with the sentiment but not sure Huddersfield were the best example to use 😉
  14. Post 82 - You're sat in the stadium, and look at the scoreboard. The electronic display reads: Leicester City 0 Oxford United 1 79:53 There's activity on the bench and you spot Patson Daka taking off his tracksuit. Do you leave on 80 minutes in order to beat the traffic (Post 83) Do you wait until the full time whistle and give Marti and the boys a standing ovation (Post 95)
  15. Would love to know who his favourite player was in that League Cup Final versus Boro
  16. The other question of course is where will the money come from to service the cost of these loans. I can't imagine the rates are cheap, and the consolidated balance must be pretty high.
  17. Looking like you're the team with 10 men at home takes some doing. Surely that game over for Marti.
  18. Not sure what's worse, the transfer fees paid, or the wages. Any normal club signs these clowns at much lower fees, however even if they ended up overpaying, they'd be on half the salary we've offered and would have been moved on relatively quickly at a small loss as soon as it became apparent they were not the right fit. Instead we've locked them into huge salaries over very long contracts and in order to try and right our wrongs we've ended up stockpiling a load of dross. We're like a gambler whose made a loss and stays at the table to try and claw back enough money to break even, but inevitably loses more and more getting themselves into deeper trouble. Ric summed it up perfectly when discussing Rodgers on the latest pod. We created an insane liability on the P&L. Who in their right mind offered Rodgers £50m over 5 years. It'd be absurd for Man City, Man Utd, Real Madrid, etc., let alone a club with our level of revenue generation. A quick Google tells you the average tenure of a PL manager is 2 years, so why commit to 5, when a) the manager has already served time on a previous contract, and b) statistically the probability of having to sack him prior to the 5 years coming to an end is very very high. The levels of incompetence in the board room are beyond imagination.
  19. Was about to post the same. Unbelievable!
  20. Even their keeper doesn't seem to know how he saved that Mavididi chance.
  21. Has to go after this. We've been awful. No idea what we're trying to achieve. Don't look threatening in the final third, awful at the back, constantly shooting from distance. You look at the squad, and whilst we all moan that we're crap, I can't think of one side we've played so far where I've thought the opposition on paper at least is better than us. We have an abundance of players with both PL and international experience, we should be doing way better than what we are currently. I'm afraid that is on Marti. Time to go!
  22. How the f#ck has he missed that!!!
