You'd think so wouldn't you but then this is LCFC we're talking about under Aiyawat and Rudkins inspired leadership. Nothing should surprise us!
-
Mainly my impressions of the man I must admit but, and in no particular order - I feel that we need to appoint a manager with a reasonable expectation on our part that he would stay for 2 / 3 seasons minimum to provide the recruitment and style- of-play continuity we need. I think Rohl is looking for a early return to managing in Germany - particularly with his wife's reported reluctance to settle in this country. And - I suspect there are some difficult if not toxic characters currently in our dressing room. I haven't heard of anything in his background to suggest that he has the presence or experience needed to deal with and overcome their influence. That's my current thinking for what it's worth.
-
Can't see that there's any chance of them doing that!
-
I'm not convinced by either Dyche or Rohl quite honestly, neither particularly suited to our current situation so far as I can see. Do we really find ourselves in the position of appointing the least worst option? Perhaps someone could recommend some European up and coming manager that none of us have ever heard of - that potentially at least would be more exciting
-
Suspect certain players still at the club have better access to Aiyawatt than the manager. But no reason to believe that Aiyawatt's views and Rudkin's views aren't in total alignment, they are quite possibly both in total agreement on all football matters and both totally wrong
-
For me too - plus someone with the ability to bang heads together both in the Boardroom and in the Dressing Room
-
But for him to be considered here, our Board would have to know who he is. I'm not even sure Rudkin / Top will have even heard of him

Championship 25/26 Fixtures - Thurs 26 June

It upsets me to think that, given the current state of the club, I've very little interest in who we play given that we do know which players we'll have to make up a team and don't know who the manager will be. Pretty sure Aiyawatt wonbe here to witness it either -
Just out of interest, where is Susan Whelan at the moment? - is she here or is she in Thailand?
-
I'm starting to think you might be right......... not sure how worried I should be as a result. And no, apart from those two I've no idea who else might be in the frame but I suspect that the article in today's copy of Thailand's The Nation - if it becomes widely read - won't make thins any easier. We could be in a spot of bother here....
-
I take your point, but don't believe that because we continue to support the club, the ownership and management of the club should be exempt from all criticism in the way you seem to be suggesting.
-
Seems at least possible that the earlier transfer of the ownership of the club from King Power to Aiyawatt may well have been, at least in part, designed as a means of protecting and distancing the club from the financial and political problems being experienced by King Power in Thailand and in so doing, securing his personal ownership of the club for the future.

Be entertaining though........

Absolutely. Nail totally hit on head

Understand tourism from the Indian Sub-continent also greatly reduced
-
Just hang on. Neither of them have gone anywhere yet!!
-
For me, the responsibility obviously rests with the three senior executives within the club - Whelan; Top and Rudkin - and whilst they retain their positions, it's hard for me to be enthusiastic about potential replacement team managers. Any incoming 1st team manager will find his efforts and ambitions for the club limited as a result of the incompetence of those three senior executives, two of which at least- Whelan and Rudkin - simply have to be replaced before there can be any meaningful progress. That's my belief anyway.
-
Not really practical to do that - could easily be Sept / Oct before the EFL reach a decision which would, itself, then be open to an appeal

How the "matchday experience" helps explain protests at LCFC
Nickaj replied to The Fosse Way's topic in Leicester City Forum
Plus the higher quality merchandise available in the three club shops. The whole Tigers setup puts LCFC to shame -
No, he's apparently sitting on his horse at the moment
-
Right, so it's all the fault of the older fans, I must remember that...
-
Possibly because our other options are gradually but steadily diminishing!
-
I thought that his form dipped after coming back from injury, then to miss the end of the season as a result of corrective surgery, I'm not sure that the demand for him will be that great. Wouldn't be surprised to see any clubs that are interested in him waiting until the January window so as to check on his early season form after his operation.

I wish I could have confidence in Top drumming up enough interest to tear himself away from the polo team to allow us to sign anyone; and for JR to properly negotiate a transfer that doesn’t cripple us completely. Oh and for Susan Whelan just to wake up and do the job she is supposed to as club CEO. You're right, I don't feel confident that any of that will happen.

Problem is, absolutely nothing seems to be happening at the moment
