  1. To be honest, I have always thought that the quality of merchandise available from Leicester Tigers both online and from the club shop is of far better quality - still expensive but just better quality and better design. More diverse too with some goods reflecting the club's history. The Tiger's club shop is only just down the road from the KP, perhaps someone from the club should go for a walk down there and take a look.
  2. Could I please have some of whatever it is you're on?
  3. Or going back a bit further in time, Jeff Blockley
  4. On balance, I'm inclined to agree and expect him to be given a little longer to turn results and performances around. I do think that Top, Susan or someone from the senior management team will 'have a serious conversation' with him in response to his recent comments and general negativity and forceably remind him of his responsibilities not only to the club as his employers, but also to his players and support staff. Recently he has been the appointed leader who has shown no signs of leadership or even of understanding what leadership means. I'm not saying that I would be happy if events take this course, but that's what I think is likely to happen.
  5. I can honestly say that if, during my days as a company director, any one of my management team had talked of any members of his or our staff in this way, I would certainly have suspended him.
  6. I'd like to think that you are right but this is a different Chelsea now being run by an American intent on both making his mark and throwing his weight around. Let's just see what happens...
  7. Actually I'm inclined to think that, having thoroughly unsettled him, Chelsea will now believe that we can be forced into selling for a lower fee. Standby for perhaps even a smaller offer than the last one with young Wesley being encouraged to pile on the pressure for us to let him go.
  8. It isn't for the manager to impose his own expectations of team performance levels on to the fans, the manager should be working to impose his own expectations of performance levels upon the team and Brendan's expectations for this team should be a great deal higher than they obviously currently are.
  9. I'm far from being any sort of expert but I like the sound of him too. But what do I KNOW!!
  10. To be honest, signing anyone at all after Smithies during this transfer window would surprise me at lot!
  11. I just find it so frustrating that players who seemed to be so promising when we first signed them - like Soumare but particularly Praet - aren't being fully utilised or even seem to be actually ignored so far as any first team opportunities are concerned.
  12. 9is that a promise???
  13. I have, mine arrived on Thursday.
  14. Sorry mate, that's gone straight over my head.....
  15. Without being able to remember the exact words he used, we were all clearly left with that impression. Didn't Top also say - or at least, heavily imply - that it was going to be a busy summer transfers-wise? Well, perhaps it st will be.....

The worry for me if we were to go down this route of selling player(s) we'd rather keep in order to fund new signings would be the fact that, based on our recent experiences, we couldn't be confident that anyone we signed would turn out to be any better than the players we're currently trying to sell.
  17. Must admit that despite all talk of Arsenal etc al, I too have always had the feeling he would end up at Old Trafford
  18. Only if you're prepared to wait 7 years
  19. What I found interesting was, given the large number of obviously empty seats in the stadium whilst the game yesterday was in progress, to then see the official attendance declared as being 32k+ can only mean that several thousand fans had bought tickets - from which that attendance figure is calculated - but then didn't bother to attend. If Top and company didn't find that level of disconnect worrying, they should.
  20. For me: Roger Davies - remember him? And then there was Dennis Wise although he was just more of an embarrassment than a poor player
  21. Unable to go to the game today having tested positive for covid on Thursday. Reading this lot makes me think that maybe having covid was more entertaining. Couldn't be could It?
  22. A couple of weeks ago I would certainly have agreed with you but, with all the recent talk of there being a third, currently unidentified, candidate under consideration for the Man U job, I did think of Rodger's suddenly rediscovered air of self confidence and wonder whether he was thinking he would soon be on his way
  23. Well at the very least, the Club doesn't exactly appear to be standing in his way!
