Highlights and lowlights 2024-2025 Season
Nickaj replied to hackenbacker's topic in Leicester City Forum
Vardy and Monga / Jake Evans debuts apart, total embarrassment pretty much from beginning to end. -
Nothing has been made public, that’s very far from being the same thing as nothing has been agreed

Fans’ heroes through the ages (well from 1966).

Going way back, Jimmy Walsh and then slightly more recently, Frank Worthington, but the best of the lot, Gordon Banks. Giving my age away here... -
Perhaps they're all too busy with their 'end of season root and branch review' .........
-
I know I've said it before but my decision not to renew my season ticket really does get to look better every day!
-
Quite a few of 'us lot' too at this rate!!

For me, removing Jon Rudkin isn't enough, Susan Whelan absolutely has to go too. She is the CEO who has happily presided over this mess from the very start

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
Nickaj replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Didn't the Premier League threaten to expel them as a means of making them abandon the idea? -
Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
Nickaj replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Except that I'd now be very happy to see the so-called 'big 6' clubs disappear from the Premier League and play in a European league of their own. The remaining clubs here could then be left to just get on with it! -
So, a probable return to exciting Enzo ball next season and most likely a points deduction on top of that...... Not renewing my season ticket is starting to look an even better decision than it did at the time!
-
It would seem to me that keeping Ruud to see out the remainder of his contract is, at the moment, the lowest cost option available to the club and, for that reason, I think that is most likely what they will try to do - at least into the start of next season to see how results go.
-
Thats pretty much the way I feel about it too except that I won't feel too happy about hanging around after the match to applaud a pitch full of so-called Thai 'influencers' all surrounding JV and trying to grab their five minutes of fame!

He's putting his name forward for a manager's job somewhere

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Nickaj replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
And refuses to admit he made a mistake in appointing him in the first place! -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Nickaj replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
True, his hands were tied, but given some of his team selections maybe its a blessing that he wasn't also responsible for recruitment. -
Oh dear, why all the bitterness towards people trying, in their own way, to effect the changes necessary at the club we all love?

Perplexity AI Review of Leicester’s Disastrous season 24/25
Nickaj replied to justfoxes's topic in Leicester City Forum
More comprehensive and accurate than the club's "internal review" I bet! -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Nickaj replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Agree entirely but if Ruud staying turns out to be the lower cost option - and Ruud himself is willing to stay - I can very much see that happening -
True of the Boardroom too. Seems that the Board are totally absent too
-
Perhaps they're telling you that you've outstayed your welcome and its time for you to go home

LCFC Men Season Tickets: Price Freeze & Safe Standing Confirmed
Nickaj replied to jammie82uk's topic in Leicester City Forum
I have too -
I've got a season ticket but, for the fifth time this season, I'm not going. Too much respect for my own well-being.
-
Hard to believe that anyone's in charge.....
-
Only possible with the agreement of the other shareholders / boardmembers. I have no inside information but the wheels have come off so quickly and spectacularly after Vichai's death that I think there's lots going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. If it was just a matter of the chairman being incompetent, the other shareholders / boardmembers would surely have stepped in.
-
Perhaps he just doesn't have access to the funds we think he has these days, or to the funds King Power have which are now under the control of other members of his family who are perhaps less sympathetic to LCFC
