Yes. Imagine them getting another points deduction, would be brilliant. Wonder what their new proposed owners are making of it, given they haven’t been approved yet.
-
Look forward to reading the article when he signs, quoting him that he made up his mind straight away to join the club!
-
Sounds like SSN were talking rubbish as with Iversen out on loan, we do have space in the squad. Maybe we decided not to go strong for him given we only would have the player for six months, and we've already got Casadei on loan in the same position?
-
The player himself said he didn’t want to adapt his game, preferring to play as a typical LB who gets up the pitch rather than moving inside.
-
Yeah, disagree with anyone suggesting he’s not at least Championship standard. Interesting that the stats suggested that he was on a par with Ward when measured on preventing expected goals.
-
He had a good run of games so enough to make an assessment. But I see what you’re saying - the bigger issue is fans saying that he was really good when he came into the team but the facts don’t reflect that. At best, he was inconsistent with a couple of stand out performances.

LCFC 3-2 Millwall - FA Cup - Post Match Thread
lcfc_forever replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Millwall's best three chances all came from corners, of which two they converted. From open play, they had shots but nothing particularly threatening while our chances were higher quality and closer to goal, so think the commentator was OTT in playing up their dominance. But we created our own issues. Thought Doyle was poor (except that through ball to Cannon) and Stolarcyk's kicking got worse towards the end, indirectly leading to the 2nd goal. Enjoyed seeing Coady in the middle of the 3, thought he was very good and his passing between the lines was impressive. Ricardo was class, and Nelson looked really promising as well. Pleased to see Casadei's contribution, Cannon's finish was Vardy-esque and Albrighton was solid as usual. Choudhury was my man of the match as well, made some crucial interceptions and was efficient in his distribution. Clearly need to work on set piece defending. We seem to concede three types of goal most - worldies and deflections, which you can't do much about. But the one we can is set pieces - Millwall especially have shown us up in how we defend them. Hopefully that gets addressed urgently on the training pitch. -
We nearly signed him previously but didn’t want to pay a fee so he’s well known to the club if there is anything in this: http://sportwitness.co.uk/leicester-refused-to-pay-brother-opens-up-on-failed-move-to-foxes-says-one-person-blocked-deal-with-brentford/

Really? Think he’d be a shoe-in for the no.8 position.
-
Wolves have the Portugal connection but wonder given their position that they can guarantee him game time?
-
Thanks for your logical and well-thought out response, much needed!

These discussions about FFP highlight how much we need the stadium expansion and other revenue streams asap.
-
Castagne we did sell of course, Soumare was a total cluster****. From what I read, we did accept a bid for him from Monaco but Rodgers changed his mind when he saw we weren’t getting more players in due to FFP so kept him. Remember Vestergaard also rejected a move even though a deal was agreed. Not defending the operations generally as they became complacent thinking they couldn’t do better than BR. But credit is due in what they’ve done this season and lessons have been learned, like getting the Maddison sale done early, so have more confidence now.

His performances were mixed for us. For example, brilliant vs Everton, awful vs Fulham. There is no way we concede 5 in that game with a decent GK.
-
Agree, think this is BS.
-
Athletic reporting that West Ham and us are interested in him but he may stay at Forest now they have a new manager.

Forest could face FFP trouble, Everton might face further punishment: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/nottingham-forest-could-face-ffp-financial-charge-everton-risk-second-penalty-premier-league-h0zqv8vft

Looks like a lot of competition for his signing.
-
Romano doesn’t report speculation, so that would suggest that their interest is very strong and they’re likely front runners to get him. Also, unlikely he’d be out on loan again next season so would be a very temporary move.
-
Sadly, I think you're right.

Brilliant goal, and looked assured. Where are the moaners tonight?

Some of the comments here are ridiculous. Justin has come off two massive injuries - we only started seeing the best of him a few months after his first major injury. Ricardo has taken some time as well. And remember, he's adjusting to a new system. Let's show some patience and support.
