I'm convinced we won't see Daka play for us again. Can see him going out on loan go a premier league struggler before the window is out.
-
Difficult for Yunus to impress when he gets 10 minutes at the end when we are generally not interested in scoring because we are either seeing out comfortably or hanging on. But then it's hard to justify he should be starting anywhere. Big opportunity for him to get an assist on Monday if he took a bit more care with the pass (at least I think it was him) He should start this weekend and he really needs to impress. Play him as a more traditional 10 behind Vardy and I could see that potentially being effective.

What's the odds on no test going past 3 days? -

Stokes isn't fit to bowl so it makes it more bizarre. Surely has to be 2 seam options. -
Concentrate on getting a couple of good loans over the line and then reassess in the summer. No point taking risks on players at this pont unless you are sure it's a bargain.

You can guarantee it won't spin now. Bizarre to go with spinners plus Root when he could easily be the third choice spin option and have another seamer. India only produced the spinning wickets last time because they lost the first test. -
Algerian players desperate for VAR to be looked at for everything
-
Granted I've not seen too much, but barely seen VAR used in the AFCON. Algeria about to go out, 11 minutes stoppage time for some reason to save themselves.

Have I just missed it or have we done no preparation for this test series whatsoever? -
Leicester 1-1 Ipswich Post Match Thread

I didn't see us intentionally holding on personally, but the fact we are struggling to see games out is a worry. Just not creative enough. -
Or we've recalled him to cover our midfield concerns....
-
Feels weird to say but you can't exactly rely on where our goals are going to cone from. Can be a positive because they can come from all over but eitb Casadei gone and KDH a doubt, Fatawu suspended that leaves us 3 short of a goal threat.

There's an argument that Leeds winning isn't the worst thing as it keeps Southampton and Ipswich looking over their shoulder rather than looking upwards.
-
Brilliant that he's followed up his world championship performance immediately. Some talent.
-
It's the risk you have with loan signings though.
-
How can Chelsea be in a position that they need him? They about to sell some fringe players and need to back fill?
-
McAteer as the 8 if KDH is out, not as good but at least he can bring energy. Albrighton on the right.

League One & Two - 2023-2024 Season

He was never going to survive if the quotes I've seen from the weekend are true. You can argue that it needs to be said if certain players are taking the piss but manager never wins in that situation. -

Noticed some big runs for Jennings and Bohannon in the lions tour. Also, this south African competition is pretty fun, regular 200plus scores and plenty of English involvement. Will Jack's with an impressive century today. -
Think VAR would be checking the offisde there
-
Good win for Selby in the end. Perhaps should've won 4-0. Only the frame where Carter got in first. He's going to have to bring a more ruthless edge against Trump next though.
-
They say that's the sort of thing that goes when you past the peak so maybe he's just on a natural downward spiral. Higgins is similar when ive watched him recently, although he is a little.bit older. If anyone thought Selby was tough watch at his best, imagine what he'll be like if he loses some of his ability and plays on when lower in the rankings
-
That's exactly why so many of Selby matches turn into a grind. Gets a non frame winning break and breaks down either through missing or position. Letting him down in recent years.

Wish I never clicked the link. Harrowing. Can't even imagine what the boy was going through. Plenty of questions and opinions about what should've been done. Couldn't live with myself if I was involved. Imagine being a neighbour too.
