I know they were through anyway but that is some win by Norway. Italy should be OK in the play offs, lots of average looking teams in there but you never know.

Somewhat underwhelming that its been straightforward for Selby. Him winning by 9.30 doesn't seem right. Brilliant from him all week, his troubles come when he breaks down in the 40s/50s but scoring was top notch. No real reaction to winning either, calm and relaxed.

We won't appreciate the goal scorer Kane is until he's gone and we are scratching around trying to find a striker who can score a goal.

Actually think Selby has looked more positive and more confident than I've seen him for a fair bit of time. But naturally there will be frames where it goes wrong and take ages because he's so hard to get on top on in those situations.

Watched the first bit of his innings yesterday and he could've got out at any point but somehow survived and managed to get something to defend. Crucial help from Bosch. Another rubbish test wicket in India that spins from day one. Backfired this time.

Don't mind that, gets a goal and then misses the midweek game.

Hazlewood also out of the first test. Big opportunity but no doubt Doggett will come in and take 10 wickets.

Always funny watching the northern Ireland games because the commentary is ridiculously biased. They are living dangerously.

Good to see Potts take some wickets today because if there is going to be an extra bowler called up, it will be him. Not what Root and Brook would have wanted but some runs for Crawley, Duckett and Pope at least.

There is a place for Rashford because he offers something different but **** me he's greedy.

To be honest I always feel like he's making up injuries because he can't be arsed and wants to come off so at least there is some evidence.

I'd say they got exactly what they wanted from a 3 day match - full day in the field and then tomorrow they can all have a go with the bat. Probably put to bed any notion that Root can be the main spinner. went for 117 runs

Reliant on Stokes for Wickets still, even against the Lions...and Wood only bowling 8 overs Although apparently the venue is nothing like the pounce and pace of the Optus. Potentially good timing for Jacks to get some runs lower down the order, encouraging knocks from Ben McKinney and Thomas Rew (at 17) as they seem next in line. Not so for Jacob Bethell, Pope has saved his position at 3 just by not playing since the summer.

Worst thing about looking at that is the fact we are going to have to 'utilise' the squad with games being so congested. Which means we will struggle to put a run together. Crucial part of the season which will shape how our season goes, aim for me would be in play off contention in Jan and we can make a couple of signings.

Sometimes think a selection of our fan base and the owners are made for each other, very little brain cells between them. It's an unnecessarily personal chant, you can sing chants against anyone without talking about death. What's wrong with an old fashioned sack the board... Although lyrics for vast majority of our songs have been awful ever since we were singing about Soyuncu's cock

Brilliant but so lazy from Konate.

Harsh that. You could see Robertson looked a bit sheepish as soon as it went in.

Liverpool lacking a defensive midfielder. Alexis isn't good enough to protect the back 4.

Felt he would miss that. Really poor penalty in the end.

Looks soft but its enough to take him off balance so should be a pen.

Farke will be next to go.

Was thinking this morning how much Ie always loved a goal scoring central Midfielder and James falls into that category. Muzzy was a hero, always loved King for his goals, KDH too

Looked more an up yours to the crowd than a fist pump. Not really bothered, just thought it was funny.

The latest player to score and look fuming about it

Best thing about not following the game is you can enjoy the result without worrying about the performance. Much needed victory, that's all I'm bothered about.
