lifes rich tapestry! i shat myself, shouted don't lose it there, and then he lost it there.
-
i see how you'd think it looks like that, but he's supposed to be in the same body position, and in line with the centre backs. keeping the winger in his eyeline to his right (not his left) so that he can either volley clear or head clear when the cross comes in. He doesn't leave him to go offside - he just doesn't know where he is because he's watching the ball only. It's what JJ does constantly. Not saying he will do it all the time, but he got pelters for it in his last Parma game when the opp scored, so looks like he needs it coaching out of him. Also probably why he didn't start after signing in a big problem position for us.

them and newcastle make me howl. they win nothing and yet have 115,000 a week going in the vain belief they are massive top 6 sides with rich and trophy laden historys. In the modern era both have had maybe 1 good challenge for the league and both fell of a cliff when it mattered. -
No McNeil, No Calvert-Lewin, they shouldnt be over running us. just stick someone on Ndiaye.

Sequence from MOTD here of Coulibaly. 1 min on to the pitch. Faes is pointing and saying 'cover that ****er behind me'. Couliably body position is totally out vs the others (facing the opposite direction to all other defenders) and as such Mikey Moore runs off his blindside as the cross comes in. The only reason it wasn't the equaliser is a, he went marginally too early and b, Stola pulled off a worldy. Certainly no immediate judgement, but given he would have been sent on with 'stay in shape and don't given anything away' ringing in his ears, his way of lining up for the first cross he received is a worry....

Come back to me when you're finished by all means.

Was a bit terrified by Coulibaly's cameo at the end of Spurs game: Outfought winger to retrieve ball. Ran forward shit himself ran back gave ball away. got in line with Faes and then let Mike Moore run off the back of him for their final chance which Stola saved but was marginally offside. scared the living shit out of me as a cameo. liked the physicality but he is raw as fook

i agree. but video chat and content where people talk about football is by any definition more popular than text chat and so people must find it more enriching/enlightening. -

Faes was ball watching, but there was also not enough pressure on the ball. which was a great ball from Porro. only reason people are annoyed is that it happens so often. i think its time for them to bring in these 1 or two defenders being talked about and make it competitive. If we can use the cannon and choudhury funds to bring in either an attacker or a proper dcm then we might have a chance of finishing 17th. -

similar reason they talk to people about watching things. -
What odds 11 straight defeats sees RVN sacked?
-
that is SO ****ing shit from Faes. 1 man in the box and just left him walk im behind you. spurs have been ABYSMAL and would be losing to any other side in the prem today.

Could be Bobby and Kristiansen as wing backs, with Ayew and Vardy sat on their back two....

Mavididi has scored and assisted more than others of late

i stand by it. weve got no strikers other than vardy. Iheanacho isnt playing..

We should be back in for Kelechi IMO. Knows the club and Vardy. Could come back in and slot straight back in to a more attacking formation to help get us out of trouble. Would also score the winner v Man UTd in the FA Cup. Leeds and Wolves apparently interested, but if he's coming back to UK he should come to Leicester....

End of the day. The club will still be going whether we are getting tubbed by the Oligarch / Hedge Fund FC's in the Prem, Part of the upper eschelons of the EFL, or completing resetting as a club under new owners and philiosophy in League One as we have already done once. Anyone who has followed Harborough Town this season will know that there's enjoyment to be got out of any level of football if the club has an air of positivity about it. All that we can ask for in the mean time is that we live up to the motto's of the club, pick players that don't quit and that want to play for the club and reciprocally the fans get behind them to try and give every advantage possible. The reality on signings is that it's OBVIOUS we are having to do some juggling to financially comply and even clearer that what stops us shifting on underperforming players is that they are on such well paid long contracts. So Faes, Choudhury, Vestergaard, Daka, Ward etc have been difficult or impossible to shift because their wages of £50k-100k make them impossible to send abroad, and anyone in champo or prem who can technically afford them won't do a quick deal at high cost for an average player - they will wait until the end of the window to see if we blink. THis is what hamstrings us in Jan windows and so we need to stop getting our knickers in a twist as there's nothing we can do about it until we've purged all of the Rudkin/Rogers era contracts and started afresh.

Daka has looked half decent under RVN who clearly likes him. lets see how it goes.
