Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")

It will MASSIVELY depend on who comes in i think. A progressive manager who really gets us playing will remind him of Maresca who he says ' made him fall back in love with football again'. He doesn't seem to thrive AT ALL under managers like Cooper or RVN who weren't so focused on wider players that hugged the touchline and were protected by a left back that stayed at home 99% of the time (Calum Doyle barely had licence to leave his own half during that championship season). If we get a foreign, possession based coach in asap i think we might see him stay. Other than that i think he will prefer to go. Fatawu, Mavididi, Monga, Alves, McAteer, Ayew is a fair old selection of wide players for the champo. The only problem is we don't have a striker, 1st choice centre mid (assuming El Khannous goes) or 1st choice centre halves so may feel like we have to sacrifice one of our players to correct that imbalance. Currently: Vestergaard, Faes, Coady, Kristiansen, Ndidi, Soumare, Daka need to be relocated tout suite to get us moving. -
I think I saw every minute of him in the prem games. i dont think he is weak or slow by any means. more that the super successful 16 year olds ive seen have been extreme outliers in terms of pace (walcott) strength (rooney) or ability (bellingham, rooney).
-
A lot of pressure and scrutiny on a young scrap of a lad. No doubt he will be a good pro, but alle 16 yo's who.have broken through in champo have been physical specimens, super quick or super athletic. He seems more technical to me rather than a rooney, walcott, bellingham type. I could be wrong but expecting him to do anything more than a bit part role next year would seem a stretch.

He was great as the lead in 'Pollyanna'.

they sit in the 'Vienna' category of players.

Hierarchy of events is: - Confirmation of any penalty / points deduction / transfer ban: - Confirmation of new manager: No self respecting player or manager will join until they know the outcome of that, so i'd imagine the league will drag it out as a secondary sort of punishment if they feel we are trying to evade a breach. - Player signings: If we are late to the party for key positions, particularly in the striking dept then we will be at a massive disadvantage. We are currently well stocked elsewhere for the championship, depending on departures but have zero up top.

thought there were some actual performances today which goes to show you how shit the mentality has been all season. coady, thomas, ndidi, skipp, justin, buonanottoe, vardy, bilal, mcateer, monga all had bright moments. amazing cameo from monga. have to get him back on loan next season if we sell him... how kristiansen didnt get a tiny sliver of his giant cranium on that late cross i dont know. its got its own orbiting weather system. its like sputnik. -
Saints (H) Pre-match - The El Shatico

I'd play this; no place in the matchday squad for Hermansen, Faes, Vestergaard, Justin, Winks, Soumare, Buonanotte, Kristiansen, Daka, Ayew, Bobby DR. A total waste of time playing any of them as they aren't going to be involved next year in all likelihood, and there's no sentiment in playing them (which i'd argue there is for Ndidi and Vardy both of whom who have been great servants). Who wants to see them clapping their way round the king power before doing the off in the summer. I'd argue no one. Treat it like an FA Cup game where we want to go for it but also want to blood youngsters. Stolarcyk Ricardo Okoli Coady Thomas Ndidi Skipp Monga El Khannous Mavididi Evans bring Vardy on second half so he can get toward his 500th appearance before final game. Subs; Briggs, Joseph, Braybrooke, Cartwright, Vardy, B Amartey, Aluko, Golding, AN Other Goalkeeper -

i want someone who wants to bring in 5 or 6 different players and knows who they are. Not someone who thinks the squad is OK. Ward, Vestergaard, Faes, Kristiansen, Iversen, Choudhury, Soumare, Daka, Winks, Ndidi, Coady can all get in the sea. Don't care what money comes in, there's hardly any un amortized value left in any of them anyway - and they are proven to have shit the bed on way too many occasions. Stolarzcyk, Justin, Ricardo, Nelson, Okoli, Thomas, Mavididi, Fatawu, El Khannous, McAteer, Skipp, Alves, Cartwright, Monga, Evans have to form the remainder of our squad with 5 or 6 added to provide a more experienced backbone Mitrovic is on the way out of Saudi. I'd get him in and promise him it'll be raining crosses from Mavididi and Fatawu so he can get 40 goals like he did at Fulham. Cullen and Brownhill have taken Burnley up but aren't prem players so i'd offer them something. Josh Sargent is a livewire who should jump at the chance to join Leicester Jonathan Rowe looked great but has stalled at Marseille. I'd get him back to the champo.

i dont know what a non binary cat has to do with anything...
-
I can see us using Stolarzcyk, Ricardo, Nelson, Okoli, Cartwright, Skipp, McAteer, El Khannous, Mavididi, Fatawu next season and players like Alves, Evans etc getting game time. We will have at least 5 or 6 who were champions in the championship at the spine of the team so it's a case of who we get in to manage and what they add to deliver their way of playing.
-
We should go for Cesc Fabregas. Doing wonders at Como to keep them in Serie A on low budget, and so isn't a manager with no CV. Loves English football Passing style with all action midfielders Ties to Arsenal and Chelsea could come in handy. Definitely one if we are going to go for it next season and play a strong passing style..
-
I think if we want to get promoted we need to hold someone like Okoli, El Khannous, Mavi, Fatawu and focus on selling/releasing some of the more senior internationals we have: Hermansen, Faes, Vestergaard, Ndidi, Ward, Kristiansen, Daka. Good example of this happening is Gnonto at Leeds who was in the Italy squad when they went down and stayed at Leeds for the promo push. Same with Rutter for one season.
-
If we keep hold of Stola, Bilal, Mavididi, Alves, Monga, Nelson Okoli, Coady, McAteer, Ricardo and Fatawu we will be in the mix in the champ next yead. How well we do will depend on If we can bring in a manager worth his salt and add a new centre mid and striker.
-
The literal only saving grace will be if there is any way we can build the squad around Stolarcyk Nelson Okoli Coady Ricardo Thomas Cartwright Winks Oluku Alves McAteer Briggs Fatawu ElKhannous Mavididi Monga (even if just back on loan from Man City) Evans, 2 new strikers Hermansen Ward Iversen Justin Vestergaard Souttar Kristiansen Faes Soumare Ndidi Vardy Daka Ayew BDR have had their day in a city shirt i think

Brighton A 2-2 Post Match Thread

How strange. Drop Walking clanger Wout Faes, and jittering competition winner Victor Kristiansen and we show some fight. Lets not get carried away though. RVN still couldnt manage a wank if he happened across Pamela Andersons home video collection.
