If Vestergaard symbolises our decline, then what does Danny Ward symbolise?

At least in our last relegation season, we had Ward and Amartey entertaining us with their circus act. This season has been nothing but pure misery.

To think we were losing to these if not for a red card and a pen.

Its been said many times already, but Everton will never go down. Wipe out all of mankind and Everton will still be left standing.

Brentford will be just fine in the Prem as long as Thomas Frank's at the helm. It's remarkable how he's kept them up for four seasons now, working with a tight budget and dealing with one of the worst injury records in the league. Remember all those pundits writing them off when Toney got banned? And they ended up scoring more goals without him.

Ward is, without a doubt, the most costly signing we’ve ever made.

Great performance by saints the first 2/3rds of the game, and then the manager had to sub in some fresh legs that caused them to implode. Their bench is absolutely woeful, worse than ours.
