Didn't Brendan say that Ward deserved a pop at it, given how he was a goalie in his prime and had been a loyal number two. This raises the question: if what we saw last season was Ward in his prime, how will he play when he's past it? God help Wales.

This is what was said about Ward until he was halfway into getting us relegated. Casadei has been shite for us, no way around that.

Forget the past, this season so far he's been our best player, I think he's not had a bad game yet, perhaps been mediocre in a game or two but good to brilliant in the rest of the games. This opinion is widely shared, as evident from the consistently high match ratings he receives in the threads.
