Ayew isn’t a 9, Daka certainly isn’t, and the defence is still hopeless. Fatawu and Mavididi will be positives I’m sure. Ricardo coming in and staying fit is crucial.

Quite happy not to hear anything from the likes of Faes and Soumare. Pretty much all of them only say what the club wants them to say anyway. Cole Palmer ‘interviews’ are something else, I sometimes wonder how even more miserable he would be if he was in this current Leicester side.

I think so too. I said I wouldn’t spend a single penny after the Ipswich game (Vardy farewell) so no shirts, we’ve not renewed our season tickets for the women’s team which isn’t much but money still goes into the King Power black hole. The women’s team are highly likely to finish bottom in the WSL. Until people stop falling for it, they’ll keep taking the money and serving up drivel.

Ultimately it comes from Top and Rudkin, their poor selection of managers and the inability to find decent player replacements. Enzo knew most of them were shite but didn’t have Monga, Alves etc to call upon and we still lost a quarter of the games that season. A goal/win against Sheffield Wednesday and some forget that these lot were bought for the Premier League, they don’t even excel in the Championship but there’s still a few daft enough to laud them. It’s a tough one for Marti, he knows the likes of Faes, Soumare and Daka are shite and he’s likely still to have them for the duration, throw in a points deduction, the inevitable injury and suspension here and there plus he’s tasked of reducing a bloated squad and getting promotion!! I can’t think of a manager who’s had it tougher in recent times, and it’s all down to dumb and dumber. He’s trying to get the best out of a bad bunch.

Ayew was excellent, just wish we had used Monga a little more, we passed up good opportunities where he was crying out for the ball.

Rated highly by the Irish at International level, replacing Rebekah Dowsett who’s gone to West Ham. Very much a 3rd choice but I think this is Leitzig’s last season so expect Liv and Katie to battle it out for the No 1 spot in 26/27.

Kasper, he came over as aloof and arrogant. I can’t remember who it was, but one of our ex players referred to him as hard work at times. Not going on the pitch for Vardys last game just said to me he was still trying to create a little headline for himself even though it was all about Vards.

Never did I see myself as being so bored of Football in general, but King Power and the fact they’ve kept Rudkin is the final nail for me. Started going in ‘81, home and away everywhere in the 90s I will always support the team but I just lack interest in it all. Don’t know if it’s an age thing (I’m 51) but I can’t even watch a game on TV now without losing interest. Genuinely hope the lads do well but it doesn’t ruin my weekends anymore if they don’t.
