  1. Good second half i thought. I dont think the split between the tiers helps. Good home support for Swansea, got to say. Fair play
  2. https://www.swanseacity.com/news/new-matchday-parking-option-fans Tenner. I booked mine in the week. Worth checking if still spaces available.
  3. Im not one to be negative just because it seems fashionable to moan but I thought that was awful last night. Sheff weds, Birmingham were good, cov weren't bad for a 1230 k.o. But last night it was abysmal. Yes i know the game wasnt great but seriously if you bought a ticket in sk1 last night and were one of the many not contributing , i have to ask why you chose to go in that section of the ground. Non singers outnumbering singers by a good proportion from what i saw. I know i cant control what people do or whether they sing but you realise sk1 is supposed to be the singing section? The loudest chants were directed at the ref when it seemed everyone joined in. Thats what it should be like for most songs. I don't claim to be a PSG style ultra and im not a fanboy but UFS must wonder why they bother sometimes when all they get in response to their efforts is a half hearted mumble from large parts of sk1. There were a number of people around me who didn't sing a word all night, except at the ref. Its meant to be fun in sk1. Thats why we go in there. Last night was embarassing. Come on lads....and girls. We can do much better.
  4. Just grabbed 2 for this. A handful have become available in NL5
  5. Hope it weren't the one i saw a fella p*ssing in
  6. Dont worry. I got it πŸ‘
  7. Ill give him time. Theres a lot of players to get rid of, limited money and only 2 windows a year to bring players in. This will take time but im hopeful hes the man for the job
  8. Yeah agree. Doesn't look to be the answer to our problems up front
  9. COME ON THEN YOU BLUE BOYS!!!!! or pink πŸ˜‚
  10. Handful available on the website as of 12 noon
  11. We got about 45 seconds πŸ˜‚
  12. They were. Fair play to them
  13. I live in rugby which is Cov city country. This lot have been talking about this game for a good 3 weeks already. It really is their big day out and the hatred they have for us is off the scale. Just please dont lose, i will literally never hear the end of it. Put it this way, some of these knobs still say 3-1 to me with a demented laugh. It was 2 years ago nearly ! To make matters worse i moved here into a family that is split leicester/cov!! So yeah.....dont lose, please.....ill even clap soumare if we win!
  14. FFS. This is football. We all have politics. Leave them at home. Im tired of the (far) right hijacking football matches and im tired of listening to the left respond by promoting themselves as liberal until someone disagrees with them, when they become anything but. Whether u lean to the left or the right i couldn't give a fck for a couple of hours on a Saturday or on here. Football is my, and many others, escape from everyday life and the sh*t we hear incessantly on almost every media platform. Not debating. This isnt the place for it. Ive said my bit.
  15. It surprised me that the club especially didnt know this, referring to it as "your area". I support what UFS do, its necessary in these days of sanitised football grounds. I might be a bit older than some in sk1 but i dont want to be sat on my hands quietly watching the game. I can do that at home. I also think its pretty unfair to have the negative accusation levelled at UFS. What they do at the ground, in the community and for fellow fans is overwhelmingly positive. Firstly they arent responsible or able to control what comes out of the mouths of 1000 people. These people are totally entitled to be negative about the club just as those who want to clap everthing are free to do so. Second i find it a bit insulting that people would think i will shout or sing something just because UFS said so (not that they force anyone). Ill shout and sing what i want, ill cheer what i want, ill boo who and what i want and i wont clap sh*t or a video of something that happened 10 years ago. That doesn't mean i dont support the team, im just not ever going to accept half heartedness either in the boardroom or on the pitch
  16. It was interesting. For me a "sizing up" exercise as a first timer. I thought you guys and the trust guy put yourselves across well but i can see what you are up against when the "hosts" dont really know the criteria they are setting for you. I sensed you have to keep a lid on your frustration at times. Also surprised at the lack of numbers given everyone has an opinion (whatever that may be). It reminded me a bit of workplace meetings where you are made to feel you have a say and that ideas will be put to management, but you dont actually believe it til you see it. Id go again though.
  17. It wasnt clear to me. But thanks for clarifying. Ill be attending
  18. Maybe controversial and would be unpopular in some quarters ,but id be happy with a "free for all" for away tickets. Fastest finger first . Season ticket holders and members at the same time. 8 am on a given day. Yeah sometimes you will miss out, but everyone gets a look in. And if it doesn't sell out, open it up to booking history.. And maybe it would lead to some "fresher" away ends which is often talked about. Looking at it logically, and some may disagree, season tickets relate to home games where obviously you are guaranteed a seat. Why should you then be allowed first dibs at away tickets. There will be members who attend lots of home games who dont get a sniff of away tickets. Im speaking as a season ticket holder just for clarity but I've been on both sides of the coin.
  19. I registered on 18 aug. No response yet.
  20. Yeah probably a lifestyle decision as much as a football one. Nice part of the world
  21. I thought this was going to be about the light show that someone, in their wisdom, decided to do when there was still daylight πŸ˜‚. My daughter said its just the floodlights switching on and off......a fair assessment i thought πŸ˜‚ As for monga....quality. And i like the fact there are academy lads coming thru πŸ‘
  22. I mean, we weren't 1970 Brazil but what i liked and really what is most important to me is that the players actually looked like they gave a sh*t, looked like they were trying and worked hard, showed effort. Ive seen it all over the years, i can live with being crap, it happens, but as a fan i will not accept half hearted effort. Saw effort last night. πŸ‘
  23. Home....best its been for ages. Almost full 90 of songs in sk1 and g1, loud goal celebrations and "limbs" as my daughter says, everyone around me getting involved and contributing and WYS sounded best for a while. Keep it up lads and girls. Really enjoyed it last night. Away.....for all their KRO, zulu rep (that i was told about repeatedly at work) and their unbeaten start they were awful. Nothing from them that I heard. Sheffield weds were 100 times better.
  24. Rail standing in g1 and sk1....its working. Came away tonight and said that's the best its been for quite a while atmosphere wise. Proper goal celebrations too, rather than a lame cheer weve seen in the past. Enjoyed it.......and i said earlier i hate friday night games πŸ˜‚
  25. Id do a straight swap for what's left of elvis presley
