Hypothetical New Ownership- Who Would You Like?
urban.spaceman replied to niyaminski's topic in Leicester City Forum
Melinda Gates. She's very well known for her charity work. -
So, a few weeks after lifting the Championship trophy we were only able to lift because of his incompetence, Rudkin has: Allowed a manager to be poached by Chelsea, Sold a home grown talent to Chelsea in order to comply with PSR, otherwise we'd be in further PSR trouble if we went down, Hired Steve ****ing Cooper because the better candidate wanted a better DOF above him the ambitious bastard, Spent weeks courting two separate players only to have them poached by another club, Spent weeks working out a loan deal only to find out the play had tax issues with returning to England, Went full training kit willy puller at a BBQ Stunning summer.
-
Knowing us Ayew would have a ****ing flower allergy.
-
Ric the window closes in 2 weeks. There simply isn't enough time to enquire about his availability, start negotiations, do **** all for a week, agree a fee, offer a competitve contract, do **** all for another week, check the player's tax affairs, then allow another club to swoop in at the last minute.
-
And their tax affairs.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
urban.spaceman replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
"Leicester enter the season in poor form, with a growing injury list, and their hands tied on signings. They already face a potential points deduction and have no wish to make matters worse. Yet is this fair? It is hard enough to stay in the Premier League as it is, without being disadvantaged further on entry." -
We should honestly just cheat like the Big Six from now on. We tried competing fairly and it artificially relegated us. Let's just ****ing cheat.

The Harry Kane Trophy

Cheers. Spaceman's crying. Nice one.

Can you tell us from your vantage point in the future if we actually get this guy or not so we can close this thread and move on?
-
It's OK everyone there's absolutely no way Rudkin could have foreseen this.

Top selling up? Twitter rumour..

Can guarantee Rudkin doesn't.

About 10 years ago I was doing a voluntary international conservation project in the southwestern states. Based in Flagstaff, Arizona, you’d do projects around the nearby states like Utah, Nevada, California and New Mexico involving invasive species removal, trout habitat restoration, trail building and building a fence around Lake Mead. When we had downtime we’d rent a car and go off to ‘nearby’ cities like Las Vegas or San Diego. One time we went to Monument Valley in Utah to camp. It was bloody cold and windy when the sun went down, too windy to have a camp fire as it would have risked wildfires. So instead we all got in the car to stay warm before bed. Me, 2 English lads, a Scottish woman, two Dutch guys, and a young German girl. I told a couple of ghost stories to get the ball rolling. Completely pitch black outside. Then we heard some spooky stories from the Europeans… Now, the sort of car we’d rented was what’s known as a “soccer mom” car - essentially a people carrier but with mod cons to make life a bit easier and quicker. Including buttons above the driver’s door to open the boot and sliding door to get the kids out quicker. I was in the driver’s seat. So of course I waited until the spookiest possible moment from the German girl’s story. And then pressed the button to open the boot. The screams, the swearing in German, Dutch and Scottish, the panicked scramble to get out of the car (which I’d locked) will stay with me forever.

Forget it and share the 4 million between fans as an apology. -

Might have been handy if we’d had a Leicester based MP in the actual government…

How many times in the last 10 years have we chased someone for weeks, got very close to completing a deal, then it’s fallen through because of something “unforeseen”?
-
Yeah but surely it's worth it if you get to play for Leicester City?
