They were "absolutely confident" of June as well. -

It might even be a couple of weeks before they put them on sale because they'll want the July 19th easing to be confirmed before they commit to a full house. If they go on sale pre-19th and then someone gets nervous with data and says its a 75% capacity or reduced in some way, they can't un-issue the tickets. -
Despite people already having quoted sums of around £4M on consultations and pre-planning and there? It's not just an extra tier on the East Stand at all, the club has spent a couple of years now aquiring the land behind that stand and given what was achieved at Seagrave and that the loans for the extension were secured two years ago I don't know why you'd be skeptical. No-one can say King Power haven't delivered everything they promised and more.

15 years. Spurs initial plans dated back to 2006 too

Australia closed down and introduced some of the most draconian measures seen in any county to quarantine and prevent outbreaks but sure enough, they're now seeing a rise in cases. There's never going to be zero covid, even if you vaccinate the world variants come and go and - just like winter flu and other airborne disease - sometimes that will mean more deaths. We either stay locked down indefinitely - which is both ineffective and a mental health timebomb - or we go back to normal and wait for medical science to create boosters and vaccines that lessen the risks.

Lia, Millie & Libby were huge surprises. I know we've had a few come in over the season that have smashed it but nine is a lot of churn.

Just order one from Soccerlord. The link is a few replies back. Apart from the small issue with the FA Cup patch it's great.

Exactly the same for me, arrived this morning. They obviously ran out of 1s.

No doubt but even with that to go an entire season without having a single kick off in the traditional kick off slot is a bit worrying for the purists.Pretty sure it's not beyond the wit of the TV execs to mix things up a bit a leave one or two games per club in that slot (even though it wasn't something that affected the match-going, "legacy" fans)? Setting precendents and all that.
-
Think I'm right in saying 4 clubs didn't have a single Saturday 3 pm KO last season. Think we'll be lucky to get 3 or 4 traditional kick offs. The only way to avoid it is to be Crystal Palace.

Every player keeps their options open. People can praise Vardy's loyalty but the fact is even though he'd "rather stay at Leicester, the best team in the land" he still spoke to Wenger about moving.Tielemans can state he's a Leicester player declare he wants to stay and end the speculation right there. But if Liverpool come in and double your money you'd be a fool to reject that. It's a short career. If he stays here we might challenge for top 4, might win a cup, might evn progress in Europe. But if he goes Liverpool, those things are almost nailed on. If he rejects them out of hand, they might look elsewhere, bring a kid through or whatever and that's it, his chance is gone. These clubs don't often ask twice. As for Wilf, as I stated in another thread, great as he is for us, he hasn't got the technical ability that would cement him in a Klopp or Guardiola side. The other top sides already have options in his position.

A vid of some of his PT work. Weights and running for the last few days solid. I'd say he wants his place back. Go Ricky P https://imgur.com/nZV3727

Be nice if they shuffled the deck this time and didn't give us the same hand for a 3rd season running
-
Front view is bad enough but he'll spend the summer waiting for that to heal. Nasty one. Wish him the best.

The players discussed it with both Eriksen and his wife and Eriksen's wish was for them to get the job done

We had a couple after KP took over when the stadium was renamed and they wanted big names here to advertise it but there's been a mix of big teams usually competing in mini tournaments elsewhere and us wanting a proper competitive games against sides similar in stature to us like Atalanta, Munching Grabbags etc in recent years. We probably won't get a 'name' this year because the focus will be on the City game completing the prep. That will be the same for all teams, especially Man City but at the same time fewer of our lot will need to build up their sharpness whilst we also have Maddison, Barnes, Vardy etc who will have had a proper summer off. You'll definitely see a lot of KDH filling in for Youri & Praet as well as a few of the kids like Shane Flynn getting a chance too

Pretty sure we lost to Northampton in 2013 too. Pearson Out hysterics preceeded by a record breaking season in the Championship

I don't think players are all that bothered by an extra 10 or 20 k in their wages. When you're on a 6 figure sum already, it's just numbers at that point. If you're not staying when you're on 120k a week, going to £140k won't change your mind too much. He'll be looking at the club's ambitions, who's lined up to come in and our strategy. If it was a money issue, Arsenal would be interested. As it is Liverpool and United get mentioned because they can offer him the CL and a genuine crack at a title.
-
Let's face it, if he has a half-decent tournament, he'll be on the radar of City, United and maybe one or two of the European giants too. It'd leave them with 2-3 weeks post-Euros to get a replacement so fairly shrewd to get the business done early. Palace and Burnley will struggle. Norwich are almost certain to yo-yo again with their main man gone. The absolute epitomes of clubs that are Championship fodder without their current managers.

Kasper's on for ten years isn't he?
-
Not really. His release clause was 30m. Worth remembering, Perez being sold from under his nose was the final straw for Benitez who quit a couple of weeks later. The Geordies raved about him then like they do Saint Maximin now. Just one of those players who works hard, puts his foot in but it just doesn't work out for them here. Probably put him in the same bracket as Inler, Kramaric and Silva - wrong place, wrong time.

That very rich family are shrewd businessmen & women. Look back over the years, very little of their personal money has gone into this club. It's always been player sales & reinvestment or TV and PL money being used for the day-to-day running.

Oddly I found my voting card the other day (so old it's got the Century FM sponsorship on the bottom!) and was saying to the other half I couldn't believe anyone voted for Fosse. Outside of the City it's got very little significance or relevance. I know it would make us a bit more distinctive like Villa or Orient or Forest but being City and our last 100 years of history is distinctive enough for me. Besides it's bad enough correcting the forruns about how to pronounce Leicester. Explaining it's just Lest-tah Foss not Lie-chester Fossey or Fossay would be too much

https://ouo.io/go/37PGGA This is a link for a (maybe Russian?) full match commentary taken from Reddit. The reaction to the goal & save are class but it's a huge 10gig file

Smart business getting a new contract for Charlie. Her and Hannah Cain were in great form in the run-in. Think it was the Charlton game at the end of the season she left their full back in a different postcode for one of the goals. Looking forward to seeing how they step up now. WSL is a big gap.
