The story goes he went from being one of Villa's fittest players to being our least fittest in pre-season. Pearson was obviously up on all the sports science and analysis and Marc didn't cut it for about 3 months. Not sure an extra 20 appearances would have made much difference but even so Mahrez and Knockaert were out wide at the start of that season. Odd take because I don't think leaving Albrighton out the side cost us those games. Woeful finishing from our strikers ("Leicester's Greatest" especially at Bristol) was more accurate. I'd have played him more but I'm not sure he would have been ahead of Fatawu and Mavididi in most people's starting XI until our blip.

A handful of hangers on is to be expected but there was no need for that many of them to be on the parade let alone lay on extra buses for it. And quite a few round me today were asking who they all were. Would have been fine if it had been general club/training staff but on a day when we're celebrating achievements these guys weren't needed.

I've been past this place dozens of times over the years and never seen a single person buying anything from there. They're one of the last independent names of old Leicester still remaining after Brucciani, Mays, Swiss Cottage etc all closed down. Amazing such a huge store is still there. It was ridiculous a) the sheer size of the hangers-on area when they came on the pitch yesterday and b) the 3 extra buses needed for the parade. No doubt all "uncles" who helped Vichai open his first business etc. Anyone who is near the reception area on a match day at the business end of the season (rarely a November midweek game btw) will see just how many of these gravy train riders turn up. The true scale KPFC right there.

Normally no but I was sharing a bus home from town with a number of people who clearly aren't regulars at games and who just turn out for the parades/festivities and it was Vardeh this and Vardeh that and remember when he did this and remember him scoring that goal. And then you see all the shirts round town and you realise 3/4 of our sales probably revolve around this guy. We talk about shot conversions and other stats but I'd love to see the income generated ££ or % figure. After 10 years and 190 goals he's got multi-generational appeal, gets the crowd on it's feet like no other player I've known and for sheer energy he's unrivalled. Bigger than the club, no that's an exaggeration, but it's within our gift to sort out a rolling deal for him with decreasing wages over time and let him decide when to hang up his boots. He's earned that right.

His attributes are similar to Vestergaard's but one has played virtually every game despite being out of contract and the other has had one cup game. Difficult to moan when we've had a pretty solid defence all season, but he's probably on 50-60k at a club whose wage bill is horrendous.

That really is a case of proving anything with statistics.He bagged against Plymouth, Millwall, Watford and Stoke. Look at the reactions of players during our 'blip' when Daka was missing chance after chance. The likes of Fatawu, KDH and Mavididi going nuts at his lack of composure or just plain inability to hit the target. Noticeable that after that lock in at Plymouth away he hasn't started a single game and barely played even as a sub.

No but I doubt he wants to be wasting his career not even getting a gig in the reserves. Most players, whatever their situation, want to play. You can earn 10 million a year but it's worthless if you're not doing anything. Given we've got two spare CBs most of the season it's baffling we didn't get shot of him in either window, especially as Nelson was given a new deal.

My biggest issue was them not having songs ready or any sort of running order. I mean come on, it's a Leicester City parade and BJ the DJ didn't have When You're Smiling queued up or even in his vinyl box? And when you've played the four songs that appeal to the crowd you go back to the first one? Would rather have had the buses do an extra lap than all the filler. Great day but tailed off badly.

Was leaning over the balcony on the Humberstone side, looking like a player genuinely wondering how he ended up here. Feel sorry for him, he's not really done anything wrong, just the final victim of our awful recruitment policy last season.

No-one was quoting this sort of stuff the years before when the likes of Forest, Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham etc were staying up. One season of 3 low-budget, small wage bill teams dropping out and suddenly the gap is huge and no-one getting promoted can stay up.

We're in H and we were blowing up balloons and various inflatables but no-one was having it. Passed one or two round but most of them are miserable c****. The game didn't help but honestly it's a title win, if you don't get going for that you can't be helped. Well done UFS for the TIFO too. Top work.

Not bothered about the players having a week to celebrate and give out awards etc. It's a shame they werent this relaxed for the last month. Playing without pressure is exactly what they need. 100pts would be great but I'd have taken 70 if it meant promotion.

"The Coptermen" got into the playoffs by 1 goal last week when their nearest opponents had a goal disallowed in the final minute of their match. Ricky P. Our blip coincided with him being out of the team and he's not had a bad game all season. Enzo deserves huge credit for using him the way he has and managing him and Justin to probably their best/injury free seasons here. Otherwise you'd have to go for Winks/KDH. Young player is Fatawu by a mile. Incredible talent for that age.
