I've thought this a lot recently, he looks totally out of place in this side, for a player that Chelsea supposedly rate highly he's not showing anything special.
-
Micky Gray, that renowned left back, sounds like Maresca slept with his wife. It's bad enough with Matterface, but Gray realise is a weapons-grade masturbater.

FFS. I took 3 and a half minutes to find the least threatening thing possible and it gets shot down. Imagine that on your death certificate. Asphixiation via flump.
-
He doesn't have one. He said at the start of the season he had a leadership group of Vardy Coady Winks and Ricardo and any could be captain at any time He might still be. The official site had Ricardo as captain at the weekend but Vardy seemed to have the armband.
-
Because he carries as much of a threat as packet of Flumps. Doesn't stretch backlines or worry defenders like Vardy, doesn't come deep and bring others into it like Nacho.

I'd rather have him here as a decent versatile squad player with the possibility of a sale than lose him on a free like so many others last summer. Surprised it's 4 years rather than 2 or 3 but like so many have said we have no idea of the terms, wages or clauses. Like Big Jan, Cags, Praet and the rest he'd clearly been unimpressed with Rodgers treatment of him (he barely played after getting sent off two seasons back) and now looks happy and settled again, and that can only be good for us.

No Enzo said they knew about it. It's not like it's a career ending injury. Didn't Gazza sign for Lazio after he'd done his knee for Spurs? Pretty sure there's other examples of it through the years too.

I remember my first match and my son and daughters first matches. Tickets bought on general sale from the ticket office, no questions asked, memberships required or ID provided. A lot more could enjoy their first game if they were able to just rock up and buy a ticket.

If we go up, I'd be looking to keep Vardy and Ndidi for their experience and get Doyle, even if on loan again. The rest I'm not too bothered but Albrighton, like King, deserves special recognition of his efforts & achievements here. If not a testimonial then get him on the coaching staff. Players like that are the DNA of the club.

He's doing well ATM, it's good to see him and Faes getting a bit of a partnership established and like the rest of the players he's celebrating the goals like it's the 8 year olds egg & spoon race at Sports Day but let's not go OTT here. His last two or three games have been solid displays against second tier strikers, the few before that were pretty shaky and the first two games of the season he got away with errors that at a higher level would have lead to goals. Hopefully his form continues but I'll always be waiting for his next gaffe.

Who needs a live game when you can have it described to you by Clinton Morrison or Sue Smith?
-
There's gonna be a few more Bristol City's playing 6-3-1 who get a lucky break or days when we don't get a penalty.
-
Injuries aside, my biggest concern is him getting a 5th yellow next week and missing the Preston game. The way yellows are being dished out this season, he could get a couple of bans. More yellows being given but the ban thresholds remain the same. KDH and Faes are in similar positions I think.

Todd Boehly comes in for Maresca and Rudkin hands Russell Martin a £12M a season deal

Is that tifo going to be revived? Would have been a perfect send off yesterday

Sunderland look pretty hopeless, and yet they are supposedly one of the better teams in the league. We were saying this about Norwich and Bristol City on the way out yesterday. We're miles ahead of most of the division after a handful of games with a side that's only been together for a few weeks. They're very good defensively, he's got them set up not to concede and hit on the counter. They rode their luck vs us but I've seen a lot of their highlights this season and they're definitely a side that's going to get better. Connolly wouldn't look out of place if he was still at Brighton, good movement & still relatively young.
-
He's been nothing like the worst performer, he's a ball-playing CB being used in an inverted FB role and doing it pretty well for a 19 year old. We'll now have a right footed RB shoehorned into an LB position again which hasn't been particularly effective during the Rodgers era. Calling it a blessing in disguise is pretty childish when you're talking about a potentially serious knee injury.

Not really, he's only useful if Vardy or Nacho is injured as he doesn't offer more to the team than they do. Maybe a case for putting him in Vs Liverpool to rest the other two. This is why he was desperate to get a move, he was never going to feature.
-
Same. Said he had contact with a player in the first half and couldn't run it off.
-
In a knee brace and getting a scan on Monday according to Enzo
-
Yep. Happy to eat it. He was immense today, another one that just needed a new manager.
-
Not looking anywhere near that far ahead, there's 38 games to go yet. But what I would say is that there's far worse players than Winks that we've said wouldn't cut it in the PL and have proved everyone wrong.
