We're still in a strong position. Him and his agent are trying to weaken it with these antics but he has to stay and perform if we don't sell him or he'll never get his move. We can afford to keep to our valuation.

I haven't been excited about a Leicester game since January. Even watching forest I'm slightly jealous the way they're going for it and playing exciting football.

This is actually disgusting. Whoever signed this off is a lunatic. Terrible footballer and always has been. He tries very hard and seems to come across as a decent bloke but I'm not convinced he's even top 10 championship standard.

I'm 120 miles away and don't go to anything like as many games as I used to. I can watch every game anyway so paying more than my sky subscription for just one game including travel just doesn't appeal to me anymore. I've grown up and no longer want to go to every game, or have the energy! I used to travel so much and love it though. I still have to watch every single game on a stream. Apart from games that are meaningless - really struggled to bother watching games at the end of the season. I can't even imagine travelling to watch that boring, pointless rubbish. I can't get excited about games that mean nothing and that's why I was so disappointed our season was effectively over in January last season.

Everyone shares their season ticket every now and then with a mate. I know people at big clubs who literally have a season ticket between 4/5 of them as it's the only way to guarantee tickets at a fairly reasonable price. The club knows people do this and are just being selfish tossers. How often has the ticket office ever done something to actually improve our experience rather than to make more money out of us?

We have a fully fit team don't we? This must be the first time in years Brendan can put out his first 11. Can anyone remember the last time he did this?

Nice to see they've done nothing about priority over the summer again. Completely crazy they still have this arbitrary cut off for the 50 points a season from nearly 10 years ago now.

I went to Madeira last week and it was absolutely beautiful. Got through Manchester Airport fine but it is still an absolute shambles of a place. Hate it with a passion. ...and heading back there on Saturday to go Greek Island hopping. Anybody been to Ios, Naxos, Paros, Syros or Mykonos and have any tips? I did my first run in years during covid during that 5k challenge and did it in 25 mins. I find running incredibly dull though. I think I could manage less than 20 mins if I could be arsed.

I think Daka and Soumare will come good so not worried about that. One of the things Pearson always said is that he would only sign players that improve the first team. That's something we rarely do these days. I understand signing young players with potential. That's a good strategy - but I also want players who come straight into the first team. This has barely happened since Rodgers arrived and he still plays a starting 11 that is basically what he has when he arrived. That's not good given how long he's been here now.

As utterly bizarre as not including him in our PL squad earlier this season. He's the only ready made replacement for Ndidi and it's such an important position. The absolute nonsense I've read on here in the past about Hamza being equally as good always makes me laugh. Hamza could not have come close to the nice simple Mendy performance we saw today.

It's a difficult one from a business perspective. I can't even remember the last time we had an increase which is good. The increase will probably still be below inflation within that time period. BUT, if you believe football clubs should be run with strong morals it's terrible timing and some people may genuinely have to give up their tickets. Particularly families etc.

Maddison is afforded it when he's stuck on the wing. Ihenacho is afforded it when he's the sole striker. But yes I agree with the final point - that's the only thing stopping him imo.

The reason he's off form is that he's playing in a wider central midfield. He has played his best games for us next to Ndidi and has genuinely looked world class there at times. Brendan isn't currently playing to his strengths. Most of the top teams do play 433 though so it would be interesting to see how he gets on in a similar position there.

Never liked goal music but the club have had it for years now and obviously think it's normal. I actually quite like the song at the end of games if we win. I think it works really well. One of my mates trained with him at Leicester for a little bit and didn't have a good word to say about him. Told me he was incredibly arrogant. But this was 10 years ago and people can change and grow.
