The deal is for two because I’m a pig.

He hasn’t made a first team appearance as a winger that’s quite true, he was a winger whilst in the academy etc but was initially just as to stand in as a fullback in training with the first team due to shortage of numbers and started from there.
-
That snippet in time when he had a few good performances on the left is absolutely years ago now and, probably down to injuries and certainly not attitude, he’s declined drastically and is an absolute shadow of his former self. We should be looking at his latter appearances on the left and not those back in history. His attacking play was appalling as he continually cut inside or had to play backwards so I really don’t know when you were watching. As for Thomas, you would have to question what his orders are and that sometimes depends on the system and who he has in front of him. He certainly can attack if required to because he was formerly a winger at Leicester City and only converted to a fullback initially in training with the first team due to shortages and injuries. He subsequently did well and was going well until messed about by a certain manager.

No it doesn’t, but it does mean that you owe your paymasters their pound of flesh for that salary! Supporters can accept losing if they can see that it’s because of lack of talent or far superior opposition, what they can’t accept is when players don’t appear to be giving of their best.

Rubbish. His one child has only just been born so school isn’t an issue at all! Even if he was allowed to live where he wants because of extended family it’s incumbent upon him to be where he’s wanted and at the time required! Likewise, in such a job as his, it’s not unreasonable for him to be asked to stay in the equivalent of a 5 star hotel overnight once a fortnight to save travelling and be fresh to do his job properly as well as team bonding issues. He’s being paid £80,000+ a bloody week for Christ's sake the big selfish baby! I wasn’t earning half of that a year and I managed it with 2 kids, travelling to different parts of the country with extended hours and overnight stops. It’s what normal people do to earn a living let alone any loyalty to the job. I don’t know why people try to make excuses for the pampered little shit!

He really wouldn’t it’s a complete myth. He’s best on the right and crap at that, particularly with his positioning. When on the left, and times a great healer and some forget, his positioning was even worse and his one footedness came to the fore big style. Absolutely hopeless on the left.

I should write it off on expenses as a scouting mission. You tried your best.

Like we’ve had a truck load of managers lately that are better than Moyes eh. Perhaps Moyes actually plays a way best suited to the players he actually has rather than the ones he’d like to have and doesn’t slavishly follow the same fad or philosophy other failing managers do trying to big themselves up. It’s about winning games ultimately. Love him or hate him how did he do at West Ham? Where were Everton with all their problems when he took over and where did they finish? How did Leicester do?

Have they got a decent centre forward by any chance?
-
That’s what I thought too, quite clear, similar to when we used to shout Huuuuth. So it could also have been that when he came on?

Very true, that’s the problem. -

I would apply that phrase to around half of the squad from last year and it adds up very quickly. However, they’re so useless and overpaid there’s absolutely no chance so get rid of what you can. -

Hardly a decent stick to measure him by 😂 -

Get rid at all costs at a knock down price and get him off the wages bill. We’ve plenty of cover at this level and don’t whatever you do give him another contract! -
Ex-players you would resign (Just for fun!)

He wasn’t wrong you know 😂. -
He’s probably really pleased not to have to meet up every day with what was largely a group of feckless spineless lazy half wits every day.

Wilfred Ndidi Joins Beşiktaş On Permanent Deal

Yes, I used to love seeing them rise rapidly until clearing the stadium roof. If ever there’d been a shot altitude prize, Wilf would have been a multiple trophy winner. -
If you look at the experience of somebody like Trafford who’s gone back to Man City and wanted therefore by a ‘big club’, you’re not going to get the likes of Brentford or West Ham stumping up more money than what Trafford cost. If he was rated that highly by those supposedly in the know and not biased fans , Manchester City would have gone for Mads and saved money!

You never know, there may be a bidding war going on for Daka’s signature that we just don’t know about? That could be enough to finance a weeks worth of clappers!

Besiktas confirm they are close to signing Wilfred Ndidi

All in all I wish him all the best and good luck for the future. -
Absolutely 😁, no problem. Either way let’s hope he settles down this year 👍.

Except it didn’t, his child was born on the 12th of March, this was in April.

Surely logic dictates that if Winks wasn’t travelling due to domestic or other personal issues this wouldn’t even have come to light! I’m sure many of our players over the years have had personal issues and they are quite rightly kept under wraps from the media and public. This clearly not one of those though is it, that’s my point!
-
The obvious flaw in that argument is that there was no suggestion whatsoever that there was any problem with his wife! So don’t let’s claim he was standing up for some imaginary rights because he wasn’t. In the normal working world men work shifts whether in a trade, factory or our emergency workers. Some have to work away from home, some for days at a time and certainly not for an extremely inflated around £80,000 per week in wages! Winks was being an entitled little shit with no loyalty to his paymasters, teammates or manager that was trying to fight against relegation. I had two kids and worked shifts and long hours. Would I have preferred to stay at home and play Daddy? Of course I would but real life isn’t like that. All he was being asked was to sleep overnight at the equivalent of a 5 star hotel probably once a fortnight perhaps, is that really too much for Mr and Mrs Winks to suck up given their massive financial gains from Leicester City? Not for me, the sooner he’s gone the better. He clearly got found out as a top player last year too which is probably why there weren’t many other Premiership clubs rushing to sign him when we did.

It’s a difficult one because in an ideal world, the Captain should imo be someone that is fairly ever present in the side, a player who the others respect and one with a voice on the pitch. Ricardo and Choudhury are not likely to be regular starters. Winks and Vestergaad are doubtful characters with self interest more at heart. Fatawu and El Khanouss arguably too young albeit of great attitude. Remarkably the only one with any captain stature is Ayew! How low have we sunk eh?
