  1. So glad I started this thread.
  2. Thanks mate for the sensible post finally! I had someone out before when I had a wasp nest on the outside eaves. He sprayed the powder which sticks to their feet and they carry it into the nest. I looked it up and it basically cuts them to pieces as it's really sharp on a microscopic level. That's why they go mental. Also had a bees nest inside the loft which he carried away in a container. Hopefully it's just one wasp/bee up there stuck in the insulation or something and it'll die soon. Can definitely hear it buzz for a split second every minute or so.
  3. Just bagged it up and disposed of it. Definitely an old dead one. Still getting the occasional and definite buzz from below though which is annoying. Don't think there's anything in the actual bedroom.
  4. Cousin ****er to wasp ****er.
  5. I've found a very small golf ball sized one in my loft. I can hear the occasional noise from the room below like tiny scratching or movement every few minutes. The loft is converted with floorboards and a light up there so I went up and sprayed a load of RAID around it but there was no activity and heard no noises while I was up there. Came back down and I can hear the noise again! I'd imagine it'd be much bigger if it was a full active nest and there'd be much more noise of them coming and going. I've had a bees nest up there once which I had removed. I thought I filled around all the exposed brick inside with expanding foam but obviously there is still a small entrance point somewhere. The guy who came last time said they can even chew through the cement between the bricks if they want to. Could it be an old disused one and the queen is still up there trying to bed down for the winter in the loft insulation now the weather is starting to get cooler? There is some thick fibre insulation right below it that I laid down where the floor beams were still exposed. I could easily just knock the small nest into a zip lock bag and get rid of it if necessary. The noises are still disconcerting though.
  6. I'm not saying I ever would, that would be a bit weird. I'm saying there's nothing THAT wrong with it if some people decide to do it. I certainly wouldn't judge them harshly if I found out one of my mates was marrying his cousin.
  7. Or Coalville
  8. As someone who comes from a big extended family (dad was 1 of 8, mum was 1 of 6), I have a couple of good looking female cousins! What about cousins once removed. I.E. Your cousin's kids? Asking for a friend...
  9. ...
  10. The point being it's purely a social stigma, and as a one off has very little if any health consequences.
  11. No problem with cousins IMO. As mentioned it's when it becomes a regular thing that it influences the genetics of a small population.
  12. Hojbjerg and Fitzpatrick definitely punching above their weight in those partner pics.
