  1. Bumping this as I just finished S2 of Solo Levelling. Shame there won't be a 3rd season til probably 2028. But apparently there might be a movie out next year. I remember getting into anime/Manga in my youth with Akira. Then proceeded to watch Fist Of The North Star which is still my favourite. Did anyone ever watch a TV series called Dominion Tank Police? That was fun too and had a brilliant theme tune. Having just searched for that it was apparently remade in the early 90s (with a crap theme tune).
  2. I've been watching Solo Levelling. A Korean anime about a terrible low ranked "hunter" who can level up his fighting skills in the wake of magical gates appearing all over the world full of beasts and demons. It takes a few episodes to get into it, and it's very much like a video game but entertaining nonetheless. It's supposed to be one of the most popular anime around at the minute.
  3. I guess it's bound to drop as they invest more and more cash into it (and therefore post bigger losses) to get the mine fully operational.
  4. I've never heard of him. When I saw the name I thought they meant the bloke from Steps!
  5. Surprised to see Susie Dent agree to do it. She must be a fan of the show. I'd much rather see Rachel Riley do it. At the same time as Carol Vorderman would be epic.
  6. Everything seems to have suddenly dropped a good 5% today, even the big companies.
  7. I watched Rushmore again a few weeks ago just to see how it holds up. Still a decent film but jeez the main character is an annoying little shit!
  8. I thought PS was alright and better than his last few efforts. Could just have been whatever mood I was in when watching it though.
  9. Very. His tyres were already 35 laps old when they called him in, and he had another 10+ laps to go. Can't remember the exact laps but his tyres would have fallen off the cliff and possibly lost 2nd as well.
  10. I always thought he looks like T. J. Miller.
  11. Estevao really does look like a great young player.
  12. Rob Edwards is bringing Joleon Lescott with him to his backroom team as none of the Boro ones are leaving apparently. Talk of other ex Wolves players joining in too. Could be embarrassing stuff.
  13. If he has any sort of success with us, even if it's just short term then it raises his profile back up again. If he doesn't then he'll still get another Championship job based on his time at Boro. It's win win for him. And he can point to the appointment being a personal ambition for him rather than just jumping ship at the first offer if clubs question his loyalty. If it was any other club I imagine he'd have turned it down.
  14. We're going for him because the only alternatives are foreign journeyman managers. We've tried that with Pereira and it hasn't worked long term, so we now we've decided to go for someone who knows the club and the supporters intimately. Can't say it excites me at all because he's failed at this level before. I'd certainly give him a go over having O'Neill back or some unknown Portugese manager though. At this point beggars can't be choosers.
  15. He's wanted the Wolves job for years. He still has a house in the Midlands too apparently. He played for us, was a youth coach, the academy manager, and then caretaker manager for two games. He has a very soft spot for us. He 100% would take the job without hesitation. I think it's probably just down to compensation now and will be announced in the next few days.
  16. I've made a killing this last 12 months. Way more than I'd make if the market goes up a little bit while I'm not in it.
  17. Why would I care if they do? Tech companies already know everything about you any way.
  18. Had itchy feet with the way the markets are trending down recently so pulled all my money out apart from Nvidia and Tesla. Think I'll leave it until the new year now and see where it all stands.
  19. Scottsdale looks really good, but you don't get the fitting fee off your new clubs. But you can get them same day as mentioned. A couple of mates have gone to Clubhouse Golf in Warrington. They are supposed to be good too and you get the fitting fee deducted from any clubs you buy. Scottsdale have 50% off fitting for Black November right now too.
  20. Don't know if it's just a Xiaomi app but mine has FindHub. I think Google does it too, as well as FindMyPhone.
  21. I thought it was some kind of trendy, down-wiv-da-kids spelling of "Live Golf".
  22. Big Trouble In Little China and Prince Of Darkness are classics. I didn't like Escape From New York at all.
  23. Agreed. He basically ran in a straight line, then hit it as hard as he could at the goal. Very little skill in it, just pace.
  24. Guilty as charged too!
  25. I used to get £11 per week doing my paper round back around '89-91. I did the weekday evening paper (Burton Mail) and the Sunday morning tabloids. Sundays were the worst because of all the extra supplements and magazines included on that day, I used to have to go back to the shop for a second trip as they wouldn't all fit in the bag!
