Is the winter transfer update imminent?

Very sad news, a proper legend.

I like Albrighton. He’s not the greatest ever footballer to walk the earth but he gives what we as fans would give if we had the chance.

I'm going to enjoy every game he's with us, can see him being signed by one of the elite at some point.

Outstanding today and everyone was buzzing for him, the run was superb and the header even better. But why do we need a thread every time he has a decent game!? Decent player but the way some of you go on you’d think he’s Messi. Hard to say he’s underrated when all anyone does is praise him.

The kid’s engine is superb, the thing I hadn’t realised was how quick he is over 5-10 yards, there was one instance today where he went toe to toe with Hazard who has the best acceleration in the league. Hope we see more of him.

We will be very lucky if he’s still our player next season. Been improving by the game and looking the complete fullback now. Can’t believe how much he’s come on defensively.

And there are still those that would rather have Fuchs . Can see Chilwell playing for them in the future but it’d take a bit more than £50m.

Bollocks, you can’t twist him playing the odd good pass as us having unrealistic expectations. His distribution is awful and very often unnecessarily ambitious.

The Mendy and Ndidi thing is really getting me. Nothing against either but we have to show a bit more ambition. No objection to playing a holding two if one of them at least can pass forwards meaningfully or get up and offer something in attack.

Dud.

So avoidable as well, needs to start thinking before just walloping it out for a throw every time.

One thing I haven’t seen mentioned, given Soyuncu’s struggles with the lingo Fuchs would be able to talk with him as they both speak German. Hopefully HM is able to play though.

I haven't brought a new tv for about 4 years but I'm pretty sure just about everything is HD/Smart now, so as long as you're happy with the brand, no reason to pay top dollar .

People still calling for Simpson? I’d have thought our two games in the last seven days would have done more than enough to put that one to bed. Firstly it’s not 2015/16, Simpson ain’t all that anymore. And secondly, Ricardo is an absolute baller.

Not necessarily a standout performer on Saturday but another clean sheet with Evans at the back. Going to be interesting when Harry Mag is fit again to see if Claude tinkers or sticks with the current partnership.

It’s his defending that’s impressing me. Wins a lot of headers for his height, his pace means he doesn’t get skinned and his timing in the tackle is good. Still not the finished article but well on the way to being top drawer.

Anyone else reckon he’d make a decent centre midfielder in an attacking 4-3-3?

Performances like today, and that pass in particular, are why I find Albrighton so annoying. He’s at his best when he attacks and he is technically excellent, we need to see more of this. The fan boys won’t have it but more often than not he is the most wasteful player on the pitch who doesn’t look where he passing and doesn’t contribute enough to the attack. I hope he can carry on from today!

Forget any potential politics regarding Kasper, Ward is a bloody quality number two. From what I’ve seen his command of the box and obvious shotstopping make him a serious keeper. Great to see if anything did happen we genuinely have a quality understudy.
