Love how much love for him there still is in here. He always came across as really switched on, emotionally intelligent and really hard working and whilst it doesn't always work out, you'd bet on him to succeed at this.

BBC Reporting Scotland (what we get up here instead of East Midlands Today) has run an hour long special, interviews with players, spectators, even with the commentators. They interviewed some of the players as they emerged from their hotel. I know these guys are pros and treat their bodies like a temple, but Kiernan Tierney looked ROUGH. Eyes like a black sheep's rude bits. I wondered what he was drinking last night - pints of Uranium?

If the Irish qualify, for a tournament alongside England and Scotland in a 2/3rds English speaking tournament, it would be great. If only Infantino, dynamic pricing and tickets going for thousands were not such a factor.

Fair play, it means such a lot to them because it doesn't happen happen very often and they will of course struggle to get out of their group but they'll consume a lot of beer next Summer. They will add some colour to the tournament. Good luck to them.

Ooooh. I think Kasper might have done better. But, Wow.

Ah, glorious failure at the last. Scotlandy.

Schmeichel and Vesty concede from a corner. I AM SHOCKED.

If Robertson's foot is on the line, I'm not sure that means contact was in the area. But it is what it is.

The Greeks played Scotland off the park at Hampden and lost, and it looks like both sides are continuing in the same vein, but with the Greeks getting some reward this time. Scotland will do very well to get anything here.

We need a song, and it fits "Tom Hark" Kamonthip Netthanomsak Is interim boss Til Nige comes back -
Echo the sentiment about the Prado. I spent hours and hours there, my feet were hurting afterwards. Totally worth it, though.

I was in Dresden over the weekend and saw this bad boy (The Sistine Madonna, 1512) by Raphael at the Old Masters collection in the Zwinger. The two lads at the bottom seem familiar My favourite works were the Rubens, although Willem Claeszoon Heda: Breakfast Table with Blackberry Pie, 1631, was one that made you gasp at its technical level of excellence:

Norwich 1-2 LCFC, post-match thread
Vacamion replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Woo-hoo. At last. However, for twenty minutes, we made Norwich, who are abject, look like Real Madrid. I'm glad we kept at it and won, but there was some awful football going on, and we are now beset by a few injuries, too. Improvements needed. -
The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
Vacamion replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
Doing Dresden parkrun tomorrow. I've been out doing 5k 4 times a week for months and trying to improve. Mrs Vac is an ultramarathon runner who has done several 100 milers. But she hasn't run in 4 months. She is still going to destroy me tomorrow. Looking forward to finding out. -
It was great, but those days are gone. Forever going on about past glories is for N*tts F*rest fans. We need a graphic of Vestergaard passing it sideways, instead.

Norwich equalise. Really intelligent play and assist fron Sargent.

Julián Carranza joins on loan - Official
Vacamion replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
To the tune of Rhythm Is A Dancer Julian Carranza Might not be the answer If we we need some goals up front Might as well play Faes there Then we might score this year Even though he is a c....err... Belgian That last line maybe needs a bit of work -

Weak. Probably deserved. It is telling that Ayew was jogging a lot last 10 when Boro were busting a gut with 10 men.
