Banks will refund genuine frauds, albeit usually after a lengthy investigation. The problem is that there is soooo much fraud, and so many people are, regrettably, "at it" (claiming genuine spend as fraud by others) that they have to investigate fairly rigorously, and that takes time. Mail interception, card skimming and phishing (people clicking on links to fake sites and inputting their details) are some of the main ways that thus type of fraud occurs. Sadly, it is remarkably common. Every bank has teams and teams of people dealing with this stuff.

It was better in the old days. Brian Little, Marc McGhee, Martin O'Neill and Gary Megson all show that the concept of managers leaving LCFC for suppisedly greener pastures elsewhere is entirely new and NEVER EVER happened in the past, no Sir-ee.
