I know I'm in the minority, but I'd like to see him stay in the PL if he can. Only needs 8 goals to move ahead of Michael Owen and get to 11th on the All-time PL scorers list. Obviously he's already one of the best ever PL strikers, but it would be nice for him to get even higher on the list!

Wilfred Ndidi has a £9m release clause (no current rumour)
James_lcfc replied to FrankieADZ's topic in Transfer Talk
He should be good in the Championship so that wouldn't make much sense. Ideally we'd keep him if nobody matches the clause, and then sell him next Summer for whatever we're offered. Can't do another PL season with him though...painful to watch. -

£9m squad filler who is nowhere near the level those clubs are at... Sounds like the sort of buisness we've been doing lately! I think they'd have more sense, but happy to be proved wrong... -

Zero chance anyone pays £9m for him, come on! He'd have gone last Summer for free if anyone outside of Leicester rated him. He'll be here next season, and should be pretty useful for us. -
The issues started with Ndidi last year? He did pretty well last year. He was absolutely awful during the first relegation. Hilariously bad. Hasn't been much better this year. We need to keep him now, as despite the injuries he is capable in the Championship. He wouldn't get in a single PL team now...and nobody in any of the top leagues is going to pay money for him. He's nowhere near good enough.

Who’s going to take him off us? He will be with us next year. Joke of a footballer.
-
Ndidi is so far off the level it’s criminal. Exactly the same as when we were relegated 2 years ago. Yet we gave him a three year deal!
-
‘In the event of an interesting offer’ Loan would be our only hope. He’s a laughing stock.
-
One of the worst signings we’ve ever made. Easily.

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

I reckon he’ll have a good career in one of the top leagues. Decision making is way off at the moment, but I think he’ll improve every season…and he’s only just turned 20. He shouldn’t play another game for us now though…pointless. -

He was physically and mentally ready. Not ready technically, but why worry about that! -

Did he play the first half against Bournemouth last year? I remember watching and being genuinely worried that he was the best of the bunch from the academy. Couldn't believe how bad he looked. -

He's League 1/2 level mate. Not physically, mentally or socially ready for so-called 'Premier League football' yet. You fans are dreamers. -
Facundo shouldn’t play another game for us now. Only nothing games left for us at this point so it’s absolutely pointless playing a loan player. Give the minutes to Mavididi/Monga/Evans.

Even this team would smash the teams we had during the Levein years! We put 6 past QPR this year. -
This! We have 7 nothing games now. Get some senior appearances in for some of the youngsters, which should breed a bit of confidence going into next season.
-
We need Winks next year. He’s dogshit at PL level, but he can play in the Championship.
-
Gave the crowd a lift on his own. Not many opportunities but looked tidy and confident. He should 100% start the next home game. No brainer.

Ben Nelson - loan to Oxford United - Official
James_lcfc replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Faes and Vestergaard will be the starting partnership next year - Nelson will be behind Coady and Okoli in the pecking order. I'm convinced we will never see the back of some of these players - They are here forever. -
Impossible to judge without knowing a bit of context. If the club was happy for him to commute when he joined, it's pretty unfair he's being asked to do it now based on what a new manager expects. I wouldn't do it either. Obviously if he was told he needed to live closer it's a different story. I'm not the biggest fan of Winks, but he's decent in the Championship, so we could do with keeping him on side for now. Him and Skipp will be an acceptable pairing down there.
-
I wouldn't begrudge him joining another PL team next year and trying to push himself higher on the all-time scorers list. He's earned the right to do whatever he wants now.
-
We are an absolute joke at the moment, but there's no chance we're heading down to League One anytime soon!
-
People reckon we’ll be able to sell Ndidi for actual money in the Summer

No Game time for Monga / Rudd stands by contract if relegated.

Ordinarily I'd agree with a bit of patience and not rushing him. ...but we've scored 4 goals in the last 14 league games. We really can't get much worse creatively. If he is a generational talent, he'll at least do aswell as Bobby f*****g Reid. Arsenal did it with Nwaneri, why can't we?
