  1. People at the BBC have a mass bubble wrap of protection until the last minute, don't forget.
  2. Rowett isn't on millions a year FWIW. It's a bit of a 1990s view that overtime or being present at your workplace is seen as a good thing - you are also linking pay to the number of extra hours you should work. Most people in my experience that are paid a ''lot of money'' are very good at managing their time and others within their team very effectively to achieve good results, not just head down working 70 hours a week - in my experience they are typically the least effective people and will procrastinate and never reach the top of the tree because of those weaknesses.
  3. Do you go into work on your days off btw?
  4. What I want to say will get me banned. I don’t know who you are; never noticed your posts before - but you’ve got the wrong end of the stick here - everyone else can see my post was not in support of Trump, but you’ve jumped on that point - even mentioned Farage Get a grip man I’m bowing out of this so we can keep the thread free to talk about Trump more!
  5. Careful you’ll be accused of supporting him
  6. You got me man how did you guess? was it 2+2=5? So for your logic to work, if you constantly read news about someone and get a bit irked by it, it makes you a fan. Go back to flicking through the guardian
  7. Can't see us winning this after the manager went away for the weekend during the international break.
  8. Blokes gone for a weekend away with his Mrs for a few days and Foxestalk meltdown, absolute classic.
  9. Its in the public interest because the licence fee will be paying the wages of all these celebrities- I agree with you here, just meaningless. No one will go, ''right that's it I'm not watching BBC anymore as Zoe Ball has been sacked'' No one actually cares.
  10. They are continuing a fight with the government, not the other way round. It is a case you could give them 10% and they wan't 12%, and it goes on and on and on forever. Starmers stance is the right one
  11. No problem
  12. I agree, you're hopefully intelligent enough to realise this wasn't a message of support for Trump, my brain is just oversaturated with seeing him, hearing him and discussing him.
  13. Just checking in to see if there is any new news....nope.... just Trump bashing for pages on end. Can we rename this the Trump and American Politics thread?
  14. She was only in S1 and S2? One of the Lioness characters was in S3
  15. Wonder what he's been up to....
  16. Thought about it a cpl of years ago - not necessarily to play but to open a venue, there is one now not far from me in Market Bosworth. I think in the next cpl of years the market will be a bit more saturated with clubs so the money tree will of sailed. I think you'd need a between £250K to £400K to set one up unless you have an unused barn on some farmland. Anyone up for chucking some money in let me know, could probably get half of it from a lender.
  17. Yep I think it's really underrated, S2 better than S1 so hoping for an all out S3!
  18. I can’t compute the argument about waiting to see what league we are in before renewing - I mean, haven’t you seen enough this season not to put yourself through it again next season if we stayed up? We will have a poorer squad next season whichever league we’re in, I just can’t see how anyone would renew on the strength there will be some kind of blue pill in the summer that will make everything ok again? It’s going to get worse. The warning signs were there last season with renewing, the definition of insanity would be to renew again surely?
  19. Why would PE touch it? Explain the pathway to any kind of return for them.
  20. Lines of credit from Top &. KP because they are probably pushing up against their covenants with their third party lenders. Probably had to get these in place so the auditors didn’t write any nasty words in the going concern review.
  21. He isn't going anywhere unless King Power kick the bucket
  22. He isn't going anywhere unless King Power kick the bucket
  23. Seagrave still on the books at full value which is nicely propping up the balance sheet
  24. Auditors don't have anything material in their going concern section of their report - probably due to all the funding facilities drawn and undrawn we've had to put in place with King Power and external banks FFS.
