  1. They’ve only had four fouls given against them according to the stats.
  2. First ones onside, second one isn’t if the ball goes forward.
  3. We’ve gone into that mode where we make it far too easy for teams again. Losing most of the 50/50s.
  4. And then when Mavididi does get it right, Daka ****s up. Just a general lack of quality.
  5. This. If some of our players in the final third had his quality we’d be passing through these.
  6. A bit more quality from Mavididi and we could have had more actually. The defending from crosses has been good but we’ve let too many come in and it was inevitable not closing down was going to cost us.
  7. That was a ‘get the home fans back on side’ yellow.
  8. Had hoped they’d drop down, but after conceding one goal against Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea there’s no way they’re going to collapse now and finish below one of us promoted clubs. It just leaves Wolves really. If they get a new manager bounce it’s difficult to see anyone else even being in contention for relegation.
  9. All I can think of with this Beyoncé half time show is when Birch brought Bernie on to the pitch at half time of a game.
  10. They’ve done it for a few years now.
  11. He’s the Bob Geldof of Africa. Sings a song every year about Do They Know It’s Christmas in Fulham.
  12. Brilliantly ironic that fans that say it’s their right to boo whoever and whenever they want, then get upset at the slightest bit of criticism for doing that.
  13. RVN’s actual quotes from The Guardian match report - Van Nistelrooy said of Ward’s treatment: “We all understand disappointment from the crowd, but it should not all go to one player. Booing or being disappointed with the result, I think it’s a right of a supporter, of a fan, to show your emotions, and we all do that, but when it really goes to one person that is something that is hard to see for me personally. I think he kept his composure very well; it is not easy when something happens like that. I think he handled it very well. It must be difficult for him. Hopefully he can turn things around quickly.” https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/dec/22/leicester-wolves-premier-league-match-report
  14. Maybe we’ll keep a clean sheet.
  15. I don’t think it’s fair to say there’s been a lack of fight on the whole this season. Yes, there was nothing today, but before that, against all the other sides around us, there was plenty of fight. We were unbeaten against those sides until today. No matter how shite we were, at times we fought for, and got, points in those games. Unfortunately the odds are the teams that came up are going to go straight back down once again.
  16. It’s quicker than cooking and you don’t have to wash up.
  17. Entirely possible. Or might have said they’re recalling because of the change of manager. It’s probably natural as a manger you’re more interested in the players that are yours, but as he’s been so far above pretty much everyone it’s a surprise he’s barely been seen.
  18. I completely agree, but it’s on the club if they’ve asked him who he’s bringing with him and he’s not given a firm answer.
  19. Nah, but successive games with 0-0 draws against Arsenal and Chelsea. You’d struggle to predict a 0-0 draw for us against anyone, no matter who is in goal.
  20. If Faes is the answer, what is the question?
  21. Any new manager that comes in is going to use it as a clean slate for all players. Up to Ward to take his chance.
  22. Well no, she’s either guilty or not. If she believes she’s innocent then she’s not going to just do time for the sake of it. The appeal will be whether she is a killer or whether she’s been a scapegoat of a badly run and understaffed department. Whatever that is, it’s incredibly hard for the families involved.
  23. Looked at two stats sites and ours was marginally worse in both. Probably doesn’t include this mauling yet though. It’s quite scary how high the XG for conceding is for the promoted clubs compared to the rest of the division.
  24. Think he previously got more space because sides tried to mark Olise or Zaha before that. There was no way Palace were going to be in the relegation picture. With players like Eze, Sarr, Guehi and Wharton to come back in they have much more about them the rest down the bottom.
  25. The Sir Alex who didn’t have to work with PSR?
