How it should be in a way. If they double up on one it means there should be more space for the other to have an effect. -

Only the two free headers there! -
Exactly. We'd all be absolutely fine with your relatives\friends\colleagues being threatened with being killed.
-
****s sake. Can't even eulogise killing people anymore. Absolute woke nonsense.

I know where you're coming from but the full back options aren't cowardly, they're just not very good. Every side is targeting them, especially, on our left, and that's just when they're one-on-one. If they were pushed further up the pitch every side's going to collect any crosses that don't find their (almost always not as good in the air) targets from the wingers and lump it into the large gap left by the full back. Who are you trusting to play in CM to cover that? Soumare? Skipp? Choudhury? Otherwise it's the left centre back covering that whole quarter of the pitch and almost certainly out of position as a result. I get why people don't think Marti knows his best side. He probably doesn't. There's just so many issues with positions. You look to fix one but it highlights the gaps elsewhere.
-
You probably can't pin the decline on to one thing, but if you could, I'd argue it's because of this, possibly starting from when Congleton came in under Rodgers. Look at what happened to us, Stoke and Sunderland after he came in.

Who do you want at left back?

All of those hoping for defeats previously for Enzo, Cooper, RVN tenures to end..etc. It's hardly worked! -

You're right, but given how good he is with the ball and how shite we've been at creating things, I can see why Marti tried it. I honestly reckon him and Fats on a good day are the only Prem quality players we have. -

He's still got the joint highest number of 'assists' for us this season. -
Worst recent signing?

Yeah - and that's PSR. A club our size can't make the mistakes we did where as the top clubs can basically do what they want pretty much and be fine. -

Do a Man U or Chelsea list then. Our shite outlay not even as much as Harry Maguire and Jaydon Sancho - never mind Anthony. -

Most of them wanted Enzo out when we were top and about 10 points clear. -

Another last minute panic arrival up front. Same as Edouard last year. -
Great post. Absolutely baffled how people reckon we should just be strolling this division. On top of the striker issue we’ve no full backs you can trust either bar a past his best Ricardo. Of the players I really rate James and Fats, but otherwise struggle to see a Prem level player in the team. Changing the manager every time you go on a bad run doesn’t get you anywhere.

It’s great they’ve got momentum, it just depends when they lose it. You have to do a damn site better than we did and we got six points, nine if you count they lost 3-0 to a newly promoted side in Burnley. -
The loss of Dewsbury-Hall has had far more of an effect than Vardy, especially in the Championship.

They’ve had very favourable fixtures. Only beaten Brentford at home first day of the season, Forest, West Ham and Wolves. Still wouldn’t surprise me that they go down and that’s after spending about £100m. -

After endless screen plays behind the line of scrimmage they suddenly went forward and put 295 (ish) yards on the board in that time. Were aided by a horrendous Dart interception in his own territory at a key time too. -

That Broncos/Giants game was the best worst game I’ve seen. Was dire for three quarters then 46 points in the fourth. Mental end. -

No. Players and staff didn’t go through media area or still in the changing room. -
Can’t believe how wrong I’ve been about a player. When he was with us I didn’t think he’d ever make it as a Premier League player. His goal record is astonishing. Can’t not be recognised as one of the best English strikers ever. And still doing it. How’s he able to get more than 20 goals in season before mid-October?
