I’m not sure how he hasn’t resigned before now… but surely that has to be the first thing he does at the final whistle here. -
Amateur - should have done it to nil.
-
Something’s going to happen for us soon - given the stream has just cut out.
-
He’s a bit close to the pitch for that - plus he might be properly injured. The question I have is where is Collier’s shin pads?
-
We have absolutely no plan when we get the ball.
-
United are pretty awful aren’t they.
-
No… sadly they’ll string us along for at least 30 minutes.
-
Did the club just post ‘all square at the break’ before the halftime whistle? I was wondering how far my stream was behind???
-
Yeah, that was woeful.
-
That can’t be a penalty surely. Wasn’t there a move towards ‘significant contact?’
-
Looking for first win at Stamford Bridge since 2018 huh… now the commentator has said that, it couldn’t happen, could it?
-
I suppose having a free week to “work” on the formation could be a factor. But I’m not sure it addresses our biggest issue though - a lack of presence in midfield.
-
Is Vestagaard dog sitting? Not in the squad?
-
It’s different, I’ll give Ruud that.

So JD Vance edits have been appearing at an impressive pace for a couple of days now. Good job he’s fine with Freedom of Speech!
-
He’s been rightly getting pelters all over social media for this - with the case against too strong to double down, so a row back was required.
-
Hmmm? Probably as close as anyone is going to get to an apology for a crass and very ill-advised comment. This is the problem with softball interviews though - with no challenge, you can let your guard down.

I’ve been on this planet long enough to recall Russia having an excuse for everything they do… if they admit to doing it. Whatever they claim are the reasons, you can be sure the actions were something they wanted to do regardless. In the context of Ukraine, Crimea is strategically important due to its warm water port - Russia didn’t have one under its previous borders. The land now under occupation in Ukraine performs a firm land bridge from Russia to Crimea - making this Russian incursion strategically useful. So whilst yes, NATO expanding East bad; invading your closest neighbour is not exactly the best way to complain against that.

That’s a big ‘IF’ by the looks of it - Trump’s managed to tank it inside a month!

We will see. If Russia gets to keep territory (which it seems it might), there could be enough of a deal here for both sides to claim victory. Putin might not like the idea of European troops on the doorstep, but maybe the need for a tactical pause is of greater importance - especially if continued support of Ukraine by Europe of defensive weapons makes further incursion futile or at least very difficult. Trump was at pains to question what victory would look like for Ukraine, but to be frank, it’s not clear what victory would look like for Russia either - I certainly don’t think they’d be allowed to steamroll all of Ukraine right now, even if they could. So whilst they may publicly posture on how this would be unacceptable… the Russian’s may have to cede ground on an EU led backstop force - and if nothing else, it would give Putin cause to claim further ‘provocation’ from The West further down the line.

If you haven’t come across this guy yet… I’m happy to provide you with the Japanese Ambassador enjoying St David’s Day.

Quite the weekend for someone that declared pre-election they wouldn’t work past 6pm on a Friday! https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/starmer-is-in-for-a-shock-if-he-becomes-pm/ Guess that’s another broken promise from the shit 😂

I don’t know the land geography of the area that well, but for Russia to have taken and then held those areas, it has to stand to reason that they’re useful strategic staging posts and so I find it unlikely Putin will be willing to give up any land under Russia control… I think that’s a concession that will have to be ceded unfortunately.
-
I doubt it given the territories form a land bridge to Crimea - which had clearly been one of the overriding objectives of the ‘Special Operation.’
-
I estimate that what Trump wants is for the war to end so he can setup trade deals with Russia - because they have plenty of raw materials that would help the US economy. If he can also get a great deal from Ukraine at the same time for similar materials then even better, but his focus is primarily getting to a situation where Russian sanctions are lifted.
