  1. Both matches between West Ham and Newcastle will be on Monday Nights.
  2. Third 7pm Sunday kick off this season.
  3. No thumbs up picture?
  4. Just catching up with this. Another depressing but unsurprising read about our squad. I'm not convinced Ruud is right for the long term but I don't envy anyone managing this lot. I get the comments about previous downing of tools but at least they put it in, however briefly, for the next bloke. We are worse now. Sort the place out from the Top (literally). We are being dragged down.
  5. Yeah, this isn't lasting much longer. An utter and expensive waste of time and money, this season.
  6. If it does happen it makes the job even less appealing. We have sacked one when outside the drop zone (although understandable) and for another to walk due to not being backed, it will put plenty off.
  7. A real shame. We are more than likely going down and would have been useful next season.
  8. He wasn't as good as before but we would have stayed up. He had enough big performances left in him. What we lost with him going, along with others, is the personality of the club. The players who maybe weren't the most talented but gave everything for the club and had a real connection with the supporters. In a three year spell we lost Simpson, Okazaki, King, Morgan, Fuchs then Schmeichel. A huge amount of experience but also a rapport and respect. Not enough of the current squad fit the profile and few have the connection. When Vardy goes we'll just be left with a collection of players we struggle to like and it is a long way back.
  9. Is the Arsenal game confirmed for 12.30pm now?
  10. Nothing I want more than to take my "BRING THE BATTLE" flag to show and tell at work.
  11. We'll swap with a couple from mine if that is ok?
  12. And then spend God knows what on extra stewards only to see a bloke run out of the Kop, almost reach the away fans, turn around and nearly get back to the penalty area before being stopped. Such a deterrent.
  13. Three points behind Arsenal. Will take that.
  14. Appointing media friendly managers will work against you when it goes wrong. Ranieri, Rodgers, Cooper and van Nistelrooy are all very popular with the press. Pearson never got the same backing. If we had chosen Jesse Marsch, Bob Bradley or a random European with no previous experience here (Iraola, for instance) there wouldn't be this reaction.
  15. Those business leaders who say working in the office is the best way of working clearly enjoy listening to the middle aged women moaning about how hot or cold it is or, worse, discuss politics.
  16. No Ed Sheeran, no club. Simple as that.
  17. ITFC Facebook in perspective now.
  18. We lost 8-2 to Man United who were coached by the Dutch Rooney and we had "at least we were competitive in every game" Cooper in charge.
  19. How close was Potter to taking it in the summer? I'm not his biggest admirer but he is clearly better than the last two choices.
  20. Didn't want the job.
  21. No worries. Play like this and they will be fine.
  22. Up to £62 for a 4th round cup tie between two bottom half Premier League teams in a stadium widely considered to be falling apart. Incredibly appealing.
  23. Defensively they are shocking. Lack physicality, positioning, strength.
  24. I'm sure he was there in the second half.
  25. On a nostalgia note, lovely to see the return of Castagne nearly putting through his own net under no pressure again.
