His remit was to get in the top four and they are fourth. Hardly sackable stuff.
-
Looking forward to a billion 12.30pm kick-offs.

Yep, the start of the drift back to 20 years ago. What a shame, it didn't have to happen.

BREAKING NEWS: Rob Holding has joined Sheffield United. Gripping start to the final hour.
-
Another reason why the club is so ineffective. I am not fully sold on Potter but he is streets ahead of the two we have subsequently appointed. A wasted opportunity yet again.
-
We invite this crap onto ourselves. The lack of savvy at the club is painful.
-
The King Power had a poor first decade whilst Filbert St had an excellent last one. That shapes perceptions. The fact it is the same look as about 5 others added to the modern football rubbish of goal music, clappers, light shows etc doesn't help.
-
Probably just saw the notepad and Gucci belt.
-
Could have left out fan.
-
Filbert St although it needed a massive upgrade. The identikit bowl will never appeal. For a modern ground the facilities are poor.
-
These teams playing out like Leicester do my head in.
-
The only difference now is that we are getting the scorelines we should have had earlier this season.
-
But we were in every game under Cooper, remember?
-
If van Nistelrooy packs it in this week there will be nothing appealing about this game. Two poor sides, thousands of empty sests, a small away following.
-
Man United were better under ten Hag but their entitled fans hounded him out.
-
Fed up with all this negativity when we should get behind and applaud the lads

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Two first names is tough on the fans. Definite mentions of this Barry bloke, Barry Murphy and Brian Murphy on the way. -
I don't blame people for taking the piss. Either that or get annoyed, really. As has been said, nobody did it last week when there was grit and determination. When you are 2-0 down after 6 minutes against a team a place above you, they deserve a negative reaction.
-
"We'll always back the lads". Bunch of robots. Football supporting should be about emotion and unpredictability. Reacting the same way regardless suggests you aren't invested and it doesn't really matter. You don't get a nice badge for applauding them.

It is. 2001/02 runs it close due to the 12-0 aggregate home defeats by Bolton, Southampton and Derby. 2003/04 at least had plenty of goals and were in games until late. This lot have been outplayed most weeks, are now getting beaten without trace and giving away schoolboy goals. Still amazed we have 17 points, about 10 more than we merit. We are hopeless at virtually everything.

Play the kids. They genuinely couldn't do any worse.
-
Our general songbook about our club and players is fine but our "banter" stuff is the worst out there.
-
Why would he come to us? Nothing about this squad and set up fits with his style. What deal do we offer him anyway? We are in the much weaker position when searching for a new manager.
