  1. He has to play if fit. Utter madness to leave out one of the few with genuine quality.
  2. They will be genuinely more bothered he will miss this than the Test series.
  3. Home sections look full.
  4. This proves that Iheanacho is a loss. He could frustrate but you would have a very capable striker available. As it stands we have no idea who will play up front.
  5. Next season is huge in terms of the club set up. If he survives two relegations in three years, with managers in despair, then we will know that the club aren't bothered about change and improvement.
  6. I think it has gone too far the other way. The belief that anything would be better than Maresca's style is/ was strong but I genuinely don't see it being an improvement.
  7. Tom Cleverley looks far too young to be a manager.
  8. Winkleman has sold Milton Keynes. What a waste of time it has been. Moving a recent top flight team who were a top ten second division club to become another lower league outfit.
  9. Agreed but I don't blame the selling clubs. They are right to fleece the top teams.
  10. Cooper has always come across well. Ultimately it is all about results, if he had come in last year he would already be very popular. Going to be tough but I have no doubts about the commitment of the man.
  11. Yeah, we have had a go in everything. Thomas has done a really good job.
  12. How do they work this out? Yorkshire batted their full fifty overs and we have gone from chasing well under 5 to well above 6 an over.
  13. That suits me, at most will have to book a half day for the Friday.
  14. The safe standing thing is odd. I get that they may have been reluctant when it more of a "taboo" subject but most clubs are now getting involved and a lot are embracing it. Why is there still hesitation?
  15. Have a feeling this football will be a blessed relief in the next nine months.
  16. In the last five years we have attracted Abbas, Harris and Rahane to our club. Pretty decent quality there for a club that offers nothing.
  17. The issue I have is that the geographical split in the country means international cricket will only to to one ground per area (barring London). Leicester, Derby and Northampton aren't required with Birmingham and Nottingham available. Chelmsford and Canterbury won't get a higher status with Lord's and The Oval in use. We have six teams in the Midlands and six in the South East (if you include Hampshire). Durham and Glamorgan, for me, aren't much bigger clubs than us but fit the ECB's remit of spreading the international and franchise game. We do need more members but ultimately if they cut numbers it will be non international clubs that go, regardless of membership figures.
  18. I am very glad we are taking this seriously. If we weren't I would be questioning why we would bother taking part and would be playing into the hands of the ECB. These are not friendlies, there is a trophy to be won.
  19. They won't have points deductions and I think all three will go anyway.
  20. Sad day. Top player who would have graced any era. RIP Graham.
  21. Cracking game, atmosphere, even Bellissima as goal music works too.
  22. And it's Gary Weaver
  23. Dundee derby today.
  24. It is really odd, this.
  25. They didn't (in normal circumstances, anyway) . Luton were six points away, Burnley 8 points and that was due to 17th receiving a four point deduction. We are likely to need 7-8 more points than three other teams. They might not be Real Madrid but neither are we.
