  1. I was always amazed to see people post how they rated this squad. It’s awful.
  2. Ruud Van Nistelrooy la la la la la
  3. He hasn't "made a mistake". He's clearly acted like a knob and is a bit of a pervert. People shouldn't/can't get away with acting like this so it needs showing up. I'm not saying public humiliation, I don't agree with what Rod Stewart has said, but if he loses is job quietly then it's sort of an acceptance as to what he has done.
  4. Agreed and also Eric Burdon and John Lennon for me. Great voices.
  5. Needs to chill a bit. I like Pep and know he's a winner, but it's relentless and he's probably best taking time away like Klopp. Talking about self harm is mad, I'm glad he/his team have released a statement to clarify.
  6. Such a shame they were Lennon's band and he's not around to input into these documentaries.
  7. This is why I don't understand why people still want Corberan. They must not watch the Championship closely and just throw his name out because he got Huddersfield and WBA into the play offs on two separate occasions.
  8. Man City fans are weird man. Strangest fanbase in the division.
  9. You don't judge players based on silverware though. Anyway, Rooney won an FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League and Community Shield all after Ferguson retired.
  10. I'd be intrigued to see know how many other top managers have previously gone 6 games without a win. I read today Alex Ferguson never went that long without a win.
  11. Neville Foulger and John Sinclair were the greats. Miles better than what RL turn out now. I grew up listening to them. When I started going to games I would listen to them in the car on the way home. RIP Neville.
  12. WBA have scored very few home league goals this season and at the minute are drawing a lot (1 win in 10 I think it is). Our fans would want him out as do, if you look at their forum, some of their fans. Cooper got two different teams into the play offs. Swansea haven't even been in the play offs since.
  13. Nice to see Newcastle lose but I was hoping West Ham would carry on their poor form for a while longer. Still not convinced by them.
  14. Knew it would happen. Same as when Hume returned all those years ago, when Pearson was here, the ground sung for him more than our players.
  15. I'd be disappointed with Corberan and don't understand get obsession with him. WBA have scored about 4 home league goals all season and currently have won 1 in 10.
  16. He probably just doesn't want to work for idiots again.
  17. Both Shakespeare and Sven were terrible. Not sure why some people have them rated so high.
  18. Do people just refresh companies house every day to see of any changes? The amount of threads referring to companies house is mad.
  19. They're dreadful mate. I don't rate Vestergaard either but he's probably less of a liability.
  20. Puel's work is underrated. At the end of his reign the football was awful, we lost to Newport in the FA Cup and eventually he had to go but he took the club over in the relegation zone and stabled us. He never had us in a relegation battle. Signed a lot of good players here, and brought Barnes back from his loan at WBA, who were all going to be key assets for the next manager.
  21. I think all managers would have been sacked longer before they were, if they read this forum. Pearson and Enzo both took a lot of criticism on here.
  22. Judge managers (and players) on consistency, not one season. Pearson took over this club when we had just been relegated to League 1 and left the club in the Premier League. Of course we never though we'd win the league, and that season was unbelievable, but the following season was awful. We went about 6 games without even scoring before Ranieri was sacked and were dumped out of the FA Cup by a team that weren't even in the top 10 of League 1 at that point. Overall Pearson did the better job and the club would not have been in the position it was for years without his work.
  23. 1. Pearson - Rebuilt the club, twice, and we wouldn't have been in the PL without him (let alone win it) 2. Ranieri - Second season was awful, hurtling towards relegation, but the title win is the obvious success as to why he's so high 3. Rodgers - Never thought I'd see us win the FA Cup, never thought I'd see us qualify for Europe via league position, but the relegation takes a shine off otherwise I'd have had him second 4 . Puel - In the end it was awful but he stabilised us which is what we needed at that time 5. Enzo - Best squad in the league and didn't even reach 100 points, but overall got us promoted so better than those below him 6. Shakespeare - Still think we'd have gone down if they wouldn't have sacked him, his early start as manager influenced my decision to have him this high 7. Cooper - Awful appointment from the start 8. Smith - Hard to judge with few games but the Leeds and Newcastle games were disappointing 9. Sven - Spent lots of money, some of which were poor players, and never even got us into the top 6 10. Souza - Took over a team that had just finished top 6 / play offs and had us bottom of the league
  24. Fair play for actually sacking him.
  25. People talk about quality being better nowadays yet I see goals from mistakes time and time again.
