  1. I was gonna post this. I swear Akinbiyi got the winner one year as well for Burnley.
  2. Always springs to my mind when 4-4 is mentioned. Remember Dickov challenging the keeper for Bent to roll the ball in.
  3. Only 20 months! I think you're missing 16 from that knowing how we give lengthy contracts out to practically anybody.
  4. I always talk about the Man City result when we won the league. Just a shame we conceded that day.
  5. I always thought they tried to play games as local as possible, which seems to be the case if you check the fixtures for that day. There's just a couple odd ones to me such as Newcastle playing Villa. Surely we could play Villa and Newcastle play Liverpool, unless it's a policing thing.
  6. Germany don't care about us. I wish people would stop pushing the whole Germany thing, its forced from us. Our biggest rivals are Argentina.
  7. We still get them delivered at work. Press the top in to get milk out.
  8. As long as it's not an Argentinian we all should be happy.
  9. I'll be selling my ticket for the 20:15. Joke that a game will finish after 22:00 and that's without considering stoppage time/VAR time on top of that.
  10. How many home games can we sell back this season, 4 or 5?
  11. Palace 19:30 is the only benefit. I prefer night matches at that time. Boxing day is a joke as is West Ham at 20:15 midweek. And Spurs away at 14:00, how boring.
  12. King Power probably got involved after the parade incident.
  13. Coady has never played regular enough here to get anything going. Comes on to see a game out or whatever. The penalty he conceded at Palace as an example, a defender who plays regularly probably doesn't just stick a leg out there.
  14. Coady has played nearly double the amount of Premier League games, captained Wolves in most of them and in those seasons Wolves were finishing much higher in the league table. Vestergaard never finished higher than 11th in the Premier League with Southampton. Coady finished 7th twice with Wolves. I don't really want either here if I'm honest but if you're going with their time before Leicester than Coady has had the better career in England.
  15. Regardless of background, they shouldn't be charging kids to meet the players.
  16. MK Dons v Wimbledon was great when they hadn't played each other but not it feels like every season. Not sure why media call it a "blockbuster" when they're in the same division anyway. Bristol Rovers v Western Super Mare and Northampton v Kettering on the other hand..
  17. Man City still use "Citizens". Not sure why the "City" thing upsets people tbh. People seem to think it's a new thing but commentary have used "City" a long time. Even when Dickov scores the goal against Gillingham the commentator shouts "City". Everybody calls Man United "United". I like nicknames though and a lot of changed on there now. Sunderland (probably prompted by their ground move, granted) and Huddersfield being two more.
  18. It was FA Cup this weekend, there were enough games to go to. A few surprised but a lot of high scoring games.
  19. Absolute joke. So question something that nobody answers for and get fined.
  20. I always find it weird how people will defend other fans when those fans wouldn't have been happy. I even spoke to two Bournemouth fans pre match Saturday and they were complaining how bad they are. 0 wins in 9 is pathetic, regardless of a change of manager, yet Bournemouth finished 12th last season. Looking at those 9 games they played West Ham (previous season 14th), Liverpool (5th), Spurs (8th), Brentford (9th), Chelsea (12th), Brighton (6th), Arsenal (2nd), Everton (17th) and Wolves (13th). It's a mixed bag. There's games there they should have won (West Ham and Wolves were both home games). Instead they were left with 3 points after 9. This season we've started with Spurs (previous season 5th), Fulham (13th), Villa (4th), Palace (10th), Everton (15th), Arsenal (2nd) and Bournemouth (11th). It's also a mixed bag. Our first three games, potentially even four considering how Palace finished last season, were tough. People on here were predicting us to be battered by Spurs on the opening day and battered by Villa two weeks later. Fulham have only lost twice, both away in Manchester. Cooper was never going to be the same as Maresca so why not say he's changing things just like Bournemouth did last season, as apparently that's justification for an horrific start.
  21. Well I’m glad we look better without Kane as the experts say.
  22. Get those stats out
  23. Foden does nothing for me. I think he’s alright for Man City but never turns up for England.
  24. Not sure how to describe that.
  25. They haven’t beaten anyone decent in a long long time.
