Are Ipswich bang average right now? They have only lost one home game all season and that was 5 months ago. They've lost 2 in 10.
-
Why have I never seen that dog being lifted up before
-
Forest beating us at home while singing our managers name, Cooper, was one of the worse things too experience.
-
Get them down. Would be incredible to see some of the teams at this level go there for a league game.
-
They've only got a poor recent history against us and even that is separated by a good decade. Early 00's we never seemed to beat them. Flashbacks to the 6-1 at their place. I recall being at home when Bent scored for them about 10 seconds in as well. I can't see us beating them tomorrow, however much we'd all love a win.

Better than some of the squads that stayed up. We went down with something like the third best defence in the league. Our squad included players that were more than proven at that level, Oakley/Clemence/Howard, plus McAuley was solid and went onto have a good top flight career, as did Stearman. Hume was half decent at that level and used to get double figures for us. I will always stand that we should not have gone down. I don't even think we'd have gone down with Megson in charge. Agree that Allen started the mess (as did Mandaric overseeing it all, getting involved and letting it happen) but for being the man in charge while it happened Holloway goes down as one of the worst for me (it is hard to compare different levels/squads/budgets throughout history, granted).
-
Holloway took us to our lowest ever position. And with a squad that was more than good enough of staying up. We should never have been a third tier club.
-
I don't blame you for forgetting This season is very forgetful already. Although I do recall us winning at Deepdale to stay up. Rob Kelly I think might have been in charge. We've seen a lot of ups and downs.
-
I think people tend to remember what they want. Mavididi has had a decent half a season here (under Enzo) and that's all. Nothing to do with jealousy (?) but just that he's not as good as what people like to think or remember.
-
Agreed. It was a joke last season that Sheffield United finished so far ahead of the other three play off sides (and eventually stayed down). They had to play Bristol City despite finishing 22 points ahead of them in the league season, absolute joke, and quite rightly Sheffield United beat them 3-0 and 3-0 across the two play off games.

If you look on their forum they don't seem very optimistic.
-
Even if you go before that. We had a Pearson era and then the dismantle when he left. It wasn't until he came back again that we really started. Pearson had a dream.
-
We played at Deepdale earlier this season and lost.
-
Hoping ticket information is released for this soon as it's only a month tomorrow.
-
I wasn't digging at you, I was just interested to know if that was in the public.
-
They will all say subject to move now because of the rolling announcement of tv selections. But I saw yesterday that the selections have already been made and we are not included.
-
Shame Spurs will win tomorrow because it’s so incredibly tight now.
-
How true is this / how do you know this?
-
Not watched it yet but Mull Of Kintyre is one of my favourites. What a career he has had. Two great bands and a good solo career. I don't think he will ever be matched, McCartney, we will probably look back on him years later to appreciate how good he actually is.
-
It is moving and sad but I enjoyed visiting the World Trade Centre, memorial pools and 9/11 museum.
-
Tottenham will more than likely beat Palace tomorrow though. Their next home game after that is Forest so, again, winnable for them. As funny as it would be to see Tottenham relegated they will just get themselves out of it.

Promoted/employed people and their new roles

Fair play to Rob Edwards, I think a lot of people thought Wolves were totally dead when he joined but he's picked up decent results. Shame they've got Brentford away next as that will probably be a defeat. Pleased for Sunderland. Nice to see a newly promoted side going so strong, as we're constantly told these days it's not possible.

Villa Park is my favourite.
