QPR didn’t sack Cifuentes, he wanted out. He spent weeks trying to get a move to WBA.
-
He will keep us up.
-
He was manager and our squad was decent, it should not have been relegated. He led us to our lowest point ever. And Mandaric over saw all that too.
-
Best one around.
-
If the owner is the issue, which we all agree, he is the one that has ruined our club, then how can Rodgers be the one who started this mess? “It doesn’t matter who the manager is”, remember. Pretty much everyone was saying Rodgers should have been sacked. The owner did not action this until it was too late. And then had no idea who to appoint so went with Dean Smith. We are in this mess because of the owner. He started it.
-
He should show these cowards up and resign.
-
Not saying he is to be blamed but my point is we were relegated but bounced straight back. We didn’t languish like we are doing now. We had the chance to rebuild, upon promotion, but didn’t! Maresca walking out and Cooper appointed had a massive impact on where we are now because of some of the players signed in that period, including a contract extension for Vestergaard.
-
Not doubting Rodgers influence on our relegation but we got promoted straight back. Maresca walking out straight away has had a big impact on this current plight too as we wouldn’t have signed the players we did under Cooper (Ayew, Skipp etc).

This was the issue signing him. Gamble. -
We are not going down because of the football league. They have rules and we broke them, just like we had to pay a fine when we got promoted in 2014. We are going down because of this idiotic ownership.
-
Puel sorted us out, kept us up, brought good players to the club but never pushed on. We needed a manager like Rodgers for success. But Puel is nowhere near the worse managers we’ve ever had, he never had us in a relegation battle.
-
Exactly my point. Thrown under the bus and it’s doing nothing for his credentials.
-
Should resign. This experiment is doing nothing for him.

Without Pearson it would have gone nowhere. Don’t let anyone push this whole King Power thing. **** -

I hate going out the FA Cup. -
I know.

We had something stupid like the third best defensive record in the league, just couldn't score. This season we can't stop conceding.
-
If only football was played like that. We're not going to win at Ipswich, I highly doubt we'll even beat Norwich at home or get at draw at Middlesbrough. It's criminal we lost to Charlton, Oxford, Sheffield United and Blackburn all at home.
-
I'm a bit like that. Sometimes I have to check if I was actually there, yet some random moments I can recall with ease.
-
Spurs have been relegated from the top flight before if that's what you mean. They are a big club but not as big as what they're made out to be. They've only won two top flight titles in their history. I think it might be a bit out of context anyway because Ange was referring to the wages and that Spurs don't "act" like a big club. I don't really care about them, certainly don't hate them like others do on here, but it would be hilarious if they went down.
-
Get them down
-
I don't think they'll get much this month (QPR/Preston/Bristol City/Derby) but what is worrying is in March they've got Portsmouth and Oxford back to back. Obviously they have a game in hand on us too.
-
Might have to get my DVDs out He scored a screamer at Hull once. Going off track a bit there but I was just thinking of that Reading game.
-
It's 3pm as they've now confirmed selections and we aren't listed for any. But I wouldn't be surprised if they all say that from now on given they're announced on a rolling basis.
-
Well clearly but Bovril did ask for favourites "apart from the very obvious".
