  1. He isn't even worth that either. It's absolutely disgusting we paid £20m+ for him. I bet Spurs couldn't believe it when we came in with that.
  2. We qualified for Europe via our league finish, and won a major trophy as well. I said at the time that we'd never do that again. It was an incredible first couple of years which I wouldn't swap. In the end he was sacked to late but, like with everything else, that's the owners fault.
  3. The Norwich second goal was a combination of practically everyone in the team. It summed our season up that you could see what they were doing, yet we didn't close them down, and then the rest of our team are are statues watching Norwich score.
  4. That was awful when everyone basically parted to let him run clean through. I must say though Norwich's movement was ridiculous. Plus they had individual players' fantastic close control but their movement was something I don't think I've seen us play against all season.
  5. Also people moan about football nowadays, call it "boring" (yet still watch it..), but also moan about set piece goals from Arsenal.
  6. Some of the home games are winnable and I feel I have seen enough from Rowett to get us points. He has made us better, just, but keeping clean sheets is the issue which he has said. I'm glad he called out the players about 20+ games without a clean sheet as, he is right, they need to accountable. We should be aiming to get points out of the home games against Bristol City/QPR/Preston/Swansea. Hull and Millwall are more tougher fixtures. I can't see us getting anything at Ipswich/Watford/Portsmouth away. Wednesday is a must win. I just then hope it doesn't come down to us having to win at Blackburn.
  7. Where are they coming from? We can't keep clean sheets.
  8. Oxford have got Blackburn and Charlton back to back next month, they'll be above us this time next month.
  9. No. Ruled out. 3-3 still. Shame. However, Everton winning again straight after conceding!
  10. Write it off, we ain’t getting anything.
  11. Is it that good? Surely we want a draw. At this rate Oxford are two points behind us.
  12. Doesn’t set the bar high.
  13. All these ex players do this. They all come out praising King Power. This is why I never understand when people bang on about wanting them back here.
  14. Don’t forget when he scores one he will score loads!! (That’s if he can ever connect with a ball). Such a shit player.
  15. They were better than us. I was really impressed with their movement, it showed what footballers should do.
  16. Villa have bottled it. From a title race to probably not even making top 4.
  17. When we got relegated in 22/23 people said Daka and Iheanacho would score for fun in the Championship
  18. Never seen so many excuses for one player before.
  19. how long have I been seeing this. He's an awful player.
  20. Well they didn't get one when he took over.
  21. He's far more intelligent than our players. His vision and touch are incredible. Class.
  22. Thought we would lose this prior to Rowett but I'm quietly confident now. I still think they will be tough but are beatable.
  23. Can't knock him. As I said previously, I have already taken to him far better than Cooper, Van Nistelrooy and Cifuentes. Two away points games, especially one at Middlesbrough, are decent results and now we look better going forwards, actually having shots and creating chances. Beating Norwich will be a good first three games for him. Hopefully we get the three points.
  24. Nothing wrong with those clubs. They are well run and enjoying top flight football. It's not their fault Wednesday haven't been in the top flight since 2000. Also a bit disrespectful to Fulham given they have generally been a top flight ever present since the same period (2000), aside from a couple of seasons in the second tier, and played in Europe in that time. No club has a right to play at any level. People bang on about the Premier League/Sky protecting the top 6, but then also say clubs like Wednesday shouldn't be in the third tier.
