Spurs won't win the league, they'll end up fighting for top 4. All going well for them and Ange at the minute but it will be interesting when they hit one defeat. How will they bounce back from that. That's when a manager is truly tested. I still think Man City will win it.

No player gets off lightly for me, all responsible for our relegation with their pathetic performances each week. There's really only Maddison and Barnes that can look back and say they had a decent season in a relegated team. Of course the manager plays a big part but we're not talking about an under 14 team here, we're talking about top flight footballers and week after week some of them were making the same mistakes.

Not sure he would get a better move than Villa tbf. They're bound to be competing for top 6 this season. I know Tielemens wanted CL football but it was never going to happen with a club in this country realistically, given his form over the past two seasons.

I only just watched this yesterday. I couldn't believe, not only how it all started but how it played out. And like you say how much influence others can have, it just shows how agents push for it. Also the hatred that Barcelona fans had was/is mad. I don't think I've ever seen such hatred in this Country, even for someone like Sol Campbell. He might get banners and boos but what Figo received was unbelivable. Much bigger than football. Figo was of my favourite players to watch when I was growing up, still think I'd put him in my all time 11 if I had to pick one.

Owen and Rooney hadn't gone by 25. Maybe a few years later but he did suffer with bad injuries. Rooney had that amazing season in 11/12. Got 17 goals in 13/14 too. But those players were World Class, leagues ahead of Tielemens.

Kevin Pressman was a good goalkeeper with a good career behind him. People always use him as an example but he was 37 when he came here ffs.

I always felt like he'd never be any better than our sort of level. People used to make me laugh when they used to call him "World Class" on here. Was never good enough, consistent enough, for a top club.
