  1. West Ham had "little chance of scoring" despite the fact Coady literally cleared the ball off our line? They created a lot of chances against us. If it was the other way around then you'd be putting it down as points we should have got. Brighton was an improvement, don't get me wrong, but they were still able to score out of nowhere. Agree on the Man City game. Thought we did okay. Still lost though, ultimately against an out of form team that had previously drawn their last match at home to our relegation rivals Everton. Villa's XG was higher was it not? Wolves was down to Danny Ward's errors but we didn't really threaten them aside from Vardy having one off the line. It was a disgraceful performance from us, as was the Newcastle game when they should have scored more than 4. There were games we lost under Cooper that were down to individual errors but you wouldn't use that as an excuse for Cooper. Ultimately we are conceding more and scoring less now.
  2. Worse away in the league for me. I usually miss it and will do again this season. Been twice, luckily both wins, but only because the first was our first game there and my second was the last game before the winter World Cup. Such a shame because I used to enjoy going to Upton Park and it was such a proper old ground too. Must be gutting for West Ham fans.
  3. 5-7 points under Ruud, where? Even in his only win against West Ham a better team would have scored at least 3 goals. We're conceding more and scoring less now so not sure which stats you're referring too. I was no fan of Cooper but I'm not going to pretend things are better now because they're not.
  4. I can never understand this argument because we're not talking about good targets/good players. We have the likes of Vestergaard and Daka on "premium" wages.
  5. Moyes being one of the favourites surely has to be because he was there before, unless he’s going in to try and keep them up then leave like he did the first time at West Ham.
  6. Every change is bound to be cautious. This includes manager changes (as reflected at West Ham this season). But sometimes a change needs to happen and, lets be honest, if (when) we go down this season then it's 2 relegations in 3 years under this ownership.
  7. On PSR he said they spoke about it before he signed and they were "clear on that". I don't trust or like this board but I think they'd have explained everything. At the end of the day Van Nistelrooy was out of working and looking to prove himself.
  8. Really unfair on travelling fans. Imagine being a Peterborough fan and wanting to visit Goodison Park then it's moved to a Thursday. As @Super_horns says, it's sad his club, plus another four, could all be out before the 3rd round weekend even starts. 3rd round weekend is so great but they should all be played Saturday.
  9. Why wouldn't you back it? Championship team in good form against Premier League team with 5 consecutive loses. Worth a fiver I reckon.
  10. I liked him at Hull but incredible work from Villa letting him go, buying him back and then making a profit having played a handful of games.
  11. Honestly the amount of times I'm driving on a motorway and someone who just brakes randomly for no reason. I don't get it. Usually the people just sat in the middle lane.
  12. I really liked the following quote: So he appoints a rubbish manager and is then annoyed he has to sack him which costs us money.
  13. They probably could tbf but Newcastle seem to carry this whole "big club" thing without winning anything in the last 50 years.
  14. Can't be doing with two entitled fanbases reaching the final.
  15. 1 And it will be a shocking centre half. Pretty much like when we were going for top 3/top 4 and we signed Ryan Bennett.
  16. As a neutral I liked Aubameuyang, I know he wasn't a centre forward but he scored more goals in a season than Jesus and Havertz will.
  17. Surely (hopefully) that's not true. Palace won't be paying him 90k a week.
  18. I wouldn't say he is overrated, as he has turned Arsenal into one of the best teams in the league again while getting rid of deadwood, but he needs to win a trophy again and needed to win the league last season. Already looks like this season Liverpool will win the league this season so he needs to go for the Champions League.
  19. He was never good enough for a top 6 Premier League club, lets be honest.
  20. Hopefully Liverpool win the competition then, considering it looks like Arsenal won't.
  21. Everything revolves around money now I find it frustrating and quite sad if I'm honest. Clubs taking other clubs to court, point deductions, etc. I wish it was just 11 blokes kicking a ball around in any given league, which is what it was intended for, they get paid fairly for it but not ridiculously and people with unlimited money can't just come along and buy a club.
  22. Oh yeah I don't think they're in a title challenge. I never meant or said that. It's totally different to our position in 2016 but I believe they can hold onto a top 4 place. Not seen anything to suggest otherwise yet although I think all eyes will be on Manchester City putting a run together.
  23. I see. Maybe I jumped in but I've seen those posts before and I don't agree with it. It's a remarkable season from Forest, fair play to them. They might end up finishing top four, certainly been consistent so far to suggest that and it includes taking points away from Anfield, Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford. I hope Bournemouth are able to sneak into the top 6 as well. It's nice to see both Manchester clubs and Spurs outside the top 6.
  24. These will be "handed out" by the same people who "don't want to bring politics into football" whenever players take a knee or support rainbow laces etc.
  25. Chelsea aren't that good though are they. They've only really beaten Brighton, Villa and Newcastle who you could class as top 6 teams. Lost to Man City, lost to Liverpool, drew with Forest, drew with Man Utd, drew with Arsenal. All this "title challenge". They were never going to challenge for the title.
