  1. Class from Dubois, was shocked the bookies has it so wide in the odds. Interested to see next match makings. I'd probably go Zhang v Parker. Dubois v winner of Usyk v Fury. Then the winner of those two fighting each other. Interested to see if Itauma keeps bowling over opponents as he shifts up the levels now. With Dubois only being 27, in 3/4 years time we could be seeing a hell of a world title fight between those 2. Annoyingly missed the first 3 fights due to a power cut, got it on just in time for Hutchinson v Buatsi. Solid enough scrap from Hutchinson but Buatsi just had that bit of extra power that gave him the edge.
  2. It'll either be the most drab game of football you could omagine, or one of us will accidentally score early and it'll be an absolute doozie
  3. To be fair, Kyle Jardine isn't a a 40 something family man
  4. He might have got away with that lie if it had only been written. He's either a dead pan comedic genius, or an absolute wrong'un. Based on literally all evidence I'm happy to back the latter
  5. Yeah and I rate the manager for backing the existing players who are doing well to be fair. Through form, injury or suspension though, he will get a chance at some point soon, then I hope the manager applies the same rules if he comes in and does well.
  6. Absolutely - to be fair on the rare bits I've seen of Nelson I'm already confident that he can do it at senior level. If he's as good as I think he is he should be forcing himself in as regular at Oxford and being one of their stand out players by May. The mystery with Sammy is that we've not seem him play much in the way of competitive senior football, so it's the anticipation of seeing if he can replicate his youth form at senior level. Totally agree though, alongside Alves I think these 3 seem to be the big hopes of the late teens/early 20s players.
  7. What's so upsetting about that?
  8. I know it's only footie manager, but it felt like there was jeopardy on every fixture. You're either battling to stay in the top 8, stay in the top 24 or to get into the top 8 or top 24. Will be interesting to see how it plays out in real life
  9. I have never wanted a loan to go well as much as this one. Fingers crossed he settles quickly and can get a run of games and good performances under his belt asap.
  10. Like clockwork you are Ric Mon-Tue - Livid at the gaffer and let everyone know Wed-Thur - Still annoyed but clearly battling with yourself to see positives Fri - Feeling optimistic and giving positive vibes Sat/Sun- 1 hour before kick off - Livid again
  11. Yeah I agree with you on that. I just couldn't let it slide that you said we're in good financial footing It's a reflection on the greed of football that the talk of finances in the game is as popular as talking about the actual game we all fell in love with. Rather than making up arbitrary rules for clubs to follow, the leagues should focus more energy on making owners accountable for any money spent over budget.
  12. Eh??? In a good financial state? If I ever start a company I want you to be one of my shareholders. If losses of 200 odd million ever 2/3 years is a good financial state then my heads gone
  13. Well that's it, because you're focusing on the 2 defenders he's near, nobody would have factored in Justin. Especially in real time. So as nice as that is, none of you would have taken Justin into account.
  14. I don't think this is even news, they'll rightly batter us if we go down. If we manage to stabalise in the Prem, we'll agree another deal for a few million to call it off. If we go down, take a look at Stoke and Birmingham, that's our future
  15. That was a fun read
  16. Almost every fight on the undercard would realistically headline it's own arena card. It's stacked
  17. Ideally Everton lead 1-0 at half time. Dyche instructs his players not to leave their box and Cooper is forced to go attacking. Couple of late goals to ensure that there's not enough time for Cooper to hit the self-destruct button.
  18. Couple of positives for us then
  19. I suspect that may be the case. Hope he can find the passion because he really is a talented lad. Suppose Sunday league and our level are littered with players good enough to be pros but struggle with the sacrifice
  20. Remember watching Kyle for Coalville in pre season and he easily looked like the best finisher at the club, even ahead of our senior pros. He spent a whole season on the bench and Stevo wouldn't let him leave on loan. Easy to lose a bit of love for the game when you're treated that way I suppose. Glad to see him bagging for Heather though and would be great to see himself test himself at a higher level if he has the desire. Genuinely think he could have made some good money from the game.
  21. A little out of our price range apparently
  22. Buzzing for the whole card to be fair, especially the top 3 fights. Gonna feel weird backing the Scottish man over the English man but I've followed Hutchinson's career with interest, he was on one of the first cards that got me into boxing. I fancy Dubois and Hutchinson to upset the odds. You never can tell what to expect, but if both fighters are agressive it could be a top fight. You've always got the worry that they'll spend 6 rounds avoiding each other though.

  24. I think 90% of the squad know they belong at this level, unfortunately the manager approaches games tactically like we don't belong at this level.
  25. Coalville signed a lad from the Leicestershire Snr League that's bagged 13 in 6 games so far. We're really lacking a bagsman, so hoping this lad can make the step up.
