Good correction. This is what I get for not verifying pub chat! Wow, 9 rising to 11 would probably have been a fair gamble
-
Szmodics would have been poor business for the price imo. Gambling £25m on a 29 year old (next month) with one decent season under his belt. Equally as poor as paying £5m for a 33 year old (next month) in the last year of his contract when his team are clearly desperate to get rid.

Fair play Palace.

Oh good lord.

Much like Leicester in that sense, "bowl" football for people that like football that much

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

It's gone down the middle of the goal, he's hit it well but I imagine Murhpy would even admit he should have done better. The fact he's struck 2 shots with decent technique is much more of a positive than a shot that should be saved finding it's way into the goal. -
Sell on clause included, we contribute 20% of whatever his next transfer fee is

If I'm doing 65 in the slow lane and overtaking someone in the middle lane then I'll just stick in the slow lane. I'm not looking to pull in front of the other person after going past them, but I'm not moving over 2 lanes to overtake them.

Spurs were well on top till we scored a goal from nowhere, think they had 2 or 3 good chances in the 10 minutes before we scored. Then they just mentally folded. The momentum swing to me felt more like a product of us scoring than any tactical changes.

I hadn't realised how much I loathed her till you chaps pointed it out

I had noticed there were 3 different types of cover. Time-limited, amount-limited and lifetime. It sounds like lifetime is the way to go

Yeah I'm certainly seeing a pattern from all the replies, sound like £15-20 a month is well worth it. God help me when I spell her name wrong on the application form

Cant wait till everyone sees the replay and realises hes hit it about 2 yards left center of the goal haha Annoyed me how miserable he looked after scoring. Winks and Ricky P were delighted as well

Thinking of taking the plunge and getting pet insurance for my 3 year old dog but never done it before. Just wondering if people think it's worth it and if so, any recommendations of companies/plans that I should look out for? Answering this has to be more interesting than watching us struggle to attack a league two team.

Sounds like someone didn't catch Bluey-fever and is jealous

Genuinely can't be arsed watching this, just checked flashscores and I'm feeling vindicated. 1 shot and 3 dangerous attacks in 20 mins?

He's a tidy player, but he's in his prime years meaning we'll overpay for him. If we can spunk £5m on a soon to be 33 year old in the last year of his contract. A decent Prem level CM at 28 is gonna set us back about £30m

Rudkin furtiously scrabbling down the back of Enzo's old desk seeing if he accidentally dropped any transfer targets This is like when we signed Slimani because Walsh had suggested him about 3 years before hand.

Plenty more improvement to come at Coalville but was nice to put in our performance of the season today. We've faced similar quality teams and made harder work of it. As I say, work in progress and the quality of the squad today will be miles from the quality of the squad by the end of the season. It's all about being patient and not reacting too soon. This is still a squad that didn't exist 2 months ago. Some of them aren't going to be good enough, but they've been man enough to step up and allow us to play this season. Memories have been very short from some people, but thankfully the majority of the match attending fans understand the scope of the situation. This isn't waving off criticism of an experienced team or manager that's under performing. This is backing a management team and group of lads that were willing to step up and give us a team to watch, improvements will happen naturally and if they don't then Ash and his team will rightly be held to account further down the line. Absolutely buzzing with the performance today though, Mangan and Bukowski look like standouts for me so far.

Not sure I agree - this whole attitude of jobs for the boys is proper non league stuff. We should be hiring the best possible talent on merit.
